The use of the George Baker Selection "Little Green Bag" and Steelers Wheel "Stuck in the Middle" in Reservoir Dogs was masterful as was some of the stuff in Pulp Fiction, notably Chuck Berry's "You Never Can Tell" and Dusty Springfields "Son of a Preacher Man".
Since then however what was once Tarantino's inspirational use of popular music woven into the soundtrack of his films has imo steadily declined to the point were it's no longer novel, surprising or even interesting it's become just a bit ho hum and lazy.
