Went to this game last year aswell and was the most boring game of football ever Stoke sat back and we couldn't break them down it ended 0-0
I'm hoping for a change this time around and that Brendan's tactics and style of play can carve open their defensive game 2-0 redmen
yeah your right mate it was one of the dullest games from last season.
i dont think kenny`s team selection exactly helped, to counter stokes ariel threat he played 3 at the back and we only had kuyt up front on his own as the lone front man.
this season we havent got much height in our side so i can see us being under a bit of pressure at the back when they have got a corner or set piece so reina needs to be brave and come out and help his defenders.
the way we have been knocking it around lately though i reckon we`ll have too much for these, especially at home. the top teams have got 19 points already compered to our 5 so we really need to start stringing wins together.
everton dropped 2 points yesterday and united and newcastle play each other so someone is going to drop points there as well, todays game is a great opportunity to chip away at the lead some of the clubs above us have.
come on you reds!!!!
