Looney ?

No not Looney - just taking a wild guess at you celebrating the sacking of Kenny. Finally getting what you have been demanding for months now.

Did it feel good to see it finally happen.

I look forward to 12 months from now after you have demanded another manager is sacked

That's what I find most galling that some fans are taking this methodically ruthless approach and dismissing its intrusion into our club as simply the
future of football . This insistence that we must now let our heads overrule our hearts is no less damning than FSG insisting we no longer sing our
anthem before and during the game ..... Ridiculous yes ,but no less encroaching than expecting us to fore sake the cups for the relentless pursuit
of this lucrative fourth place .

I mean, I hated Chelsea winning that cup ,but a small part of me couldn't help but have a grudging admiration for their fight ,because it
reminded me of the reds achieving the implausible against all the odds . Liverpool won in 2005 not because of money but because they possessed
far more heart than Milan ....Chelsea with all the millions Abramovic chucked at them won because of heart nothing else .

It hurts like hell mate ,and I just despair of those who don't feel the pain  :(

what does that have to do with twitter?

in reply to Lakes...you're right, it's used (on a daily basis) as a tool to make announcements. Journlaists will also raise rumours they hear, which is where the word that Kenny was sacked came from.

Because you were posting with glee how Twitter was right about Kenny being sacked.

How did the celebrations go ?

Are you not happy about the sacking then ?

we were talking about twitter, and its usefulness for finding stories Benny...why are you so obsessed with hijacking this thread to spout $*i*e?

My feelings on Kenny are no secret; he souldn't have been given the long-term job in the first place and my predictions have all come true. It's a sad end to a sad chapter in our history and I, for one, am looking forward to the club moving forward.

Hopefully the board will bring kenny back as an ambassador in a year or two.

So you are happy your 6 month slating a legend produced the result you wanted.

P.s. - this is the Kenny thread and posting about how you demanded he was sacked for 4 months I think is very relevant.

It just shows the mentality of some of our "fans" - wouldn't call you a supporter.

I would be ashamed if I was you. Especially when you read about all those legends coming out and saying what a disgrace it was. I'm sure they are also disgusted with some of our "fans" .

Let's hope the club does move forward. Not looking good at the moment is it - Martinez the only one we have currently spoken to - great movement forward.

When we do go backwards though it might rid the club of "fans" like you.

No doubt your reply will be along the lines of " women or looney"

It is no surprise knowing you are a journalist. They are all pure scum.

How do you know it's only Martinez we've spoken to?  Oh wait a min, is that because you've read it in the MEDIA??  I thought you refused to believe anything you read in the press?

Liverpool will come out of this stronger, and better. And I for one will enjoy watching 'fans' like yourself back track and swallow humble pie when it happens.

What happens if the club doesnt come out of this stronger ?

Have you even given any thought to the repercussions of what is currently happening ?

A new 5 year plan that will last a year as another manager is sacked.

Whelan himself said we have permission to speak to Martinez you clown. I didn't read some scum hack to know that.

you said Martinez is the ONLY manager we've spoken to....so back that up, prove we’re not talking to any other mangers...oh wait, you can't, 'cos you're talking $*i*e, yet again

And yes, we will come out of this stronger...because our owners don't accept f**k ups, and last season was filled with more mistakes, more gaffs, that it was like supporting Newcastle instead of Liverpool.

Then there was the football, which (50% of the time) was f**king awful too and you didn’t need to be a football genius to realise that Kenny was out of touch with the modern game, both on and off the pitch. It was painful to watch and the owners have taken the difficult decision to move on because they weren’t prepared to watch more money get wasted on awful players, like Downing and Adam.

Liverpool is getting the shake down it needed after the H&G era, and it'll finally be run as a business that will make money, fund its own stadium and be the envy of the world. It's a pity people like yourself are too narrow minded to see that.

I think the fact we have approached someone like Jurgen Klopp has filled me with confidence that FSG are approaching genuine quality managers. This is crucial if we are to progress and ensure that our manager has the ability to take us further and further as the seasons roll on. That said I am worried about the possibility of Martinez being our manager, though if he does arrive he shall receive my full support as any manager and player coming into the club does. I don't cherry pick unlike those with the holier-than-thou attitude problem i.e. Red Beer Goggles and Mr History man with the leprechaun in his signature.

Prove we have spoken to anyone else but Martinez ?

Imagine how some of our top players will feel when a manager of his calibre arrives at the club.

It wouldn't surprise me to see an exodus of players.

There is no guarentee things will get better - there is an equal chance that things can get worse. Wrong manager arrives , players leave.

People like you said when Rafa left things would get better - they didn't and you can't guarentee that things will get better.

You hope they do because then your opinion is justified and that is why you can't even think that things will go wrong because then you look a first call utter ***** ( halfway there anyway )

Currently we have zero people at the club looking after football matters - we have owners who know zero about football. I fully expect a media appointment just like we did with Hodgson.

And off you go into loony land again...no one knows what mangers we are talking to, or who else we're going to bring in. So why go on about something that might not happen?

Instead, you're acting like a child who's been told Christmas has been cancelled, throwing your toys out of your pram, stamping your feet and bawling your eyes out.

Have you contemplated the fact that things could get worse just like last time.

Do you not understand the current situation at the club and the lack of any football direction

Teams are currently pursing players for next season and we are doing what ?

Think you may get a sharp wake up call soon enough and then you will understand why currently the majority of the fanbase ( IMO ) are very worried for the future , very worried about our owners , and very worried that we have no direction currently.

Anything about a self funding stadium is pure pie in the sky.
