Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

FSG are mediocre owners so far.  Got the club at a bargain price and have a net spend of 40M.
Onto manager number 3... and if the rumours are true about Martinez, he'll probably fail miserably in this job.

Pretty much!

Management of Lievrpool football club will fast become associated as a poisoned chalice if this carries on. We're like the club version of England. Desperation seems to have seeped in on the parts of the Americans as they look to establish us as a top side while taking a nice profit from our success. In fairness to them they did say they'll run Liverpool like a business, so that's the way we're operating, so it seems...

Exactly. Can’t compare the situation to when Hodgson took over. The managers job at Liverpool is a very attractive role and if we go after Martínez we will be selling ourselves short.

I'm not surprised but I'm shocked and angry that this has been leaked to the media and the press with no statement by the club and not one iota of a word about it on the official club website - disgraceful.

I mean T&T gone, owners with money who don't seem to be taking any sh!t. some good players on the books. It's a good job to get now.

Skysports are running a poll with regards to "who should be Liverpool's next manager" and Rafa Benitez is leading with 38% of the vote.
