And from day 1 of his reign most of the Liverpool supporters wanted to see him fail, and rejoiced when he did. His opening game against Arsenal we were 1-0 up, it was only because of Reina that we drew 1-1. But that wasn't Reinas fault, that was Roys. And from then on, he had to battle his own clubs supporters as well as other clubs. He was never given a chance, and the pressure on him was immense. When he won a game, nothing was said, but the supporters, rather than show support and give him the benefit of the doubt, just sat eagerly awaiting our next defeat, or draw, ready to pounce.
Anfield has always had the most electric and passionate supporters, as the most ardent fans are ready to stick by Kenny Dalglish, many of those supporters showed nothing of the qualities which makes the fans great when it came to Roy Hodgson. I said it back then, and I still believe it to this day. The major f*ck up Roy made was replacing Rafa.
Roy never stood a chance.

He remained in his post after talks with principal owner John Henry and chairman Tom Werner, but there is no guarantee he will be in charge of team affairs at the start of next season.
On a wider note, if the underlined above is true, how the hell is the club going to do any significant business transfer wise between now and the start of the new season !.
The situation has got to be resolved, back him or sack him, either way the owners need to sort out the uncertainty surrounding our managers future

Kerry must be flicking her bean 24/7 that so many are discussing whether KK should stay or go.
Lets just put things into perspective. It is absolutely natural that a manager sit down with the owners at the end of the season and discuss what is happening through the summer and talk about the next seasons campaign. Moyes was in the papers recently saying he would sit down with kenwright. Does that mean he is on the verge of getting sacked? Bullsh'it.
There is a deliberate game being played here to constantly undermine KK by the media. Its as plain as the nose on Phil Thompsons face and only a complete retard cant see it. Of course the owners arent happy. Why should they be? KK should be told in no uncertain terms that it is unacceptable to finish 8th. KK has to take it on the chin because the buck stops with the manager. But he can also point out the positives and give assurances that if there is no improvement by christmas he will step down. All this talk of KK saying "back me or sack me" is unproven and untrue and those who are even commenting on this statement need to get a grip. Unless we see a direct quote it is just another attempt by the cu'nty media to wind people up.
Its a story, for some a great one to see the mighty Liverpool humbled by a poor season (after spending over a 100 million blah blah) and the King of Anfield "clinging on to his job by a thread". How sweet for all our enemies that we are in such a desperate and woeful position...
GET TO FU'CK YOU GULLIBLE GOBSH'ITES!
And we are expected to take anyone who uses the word 'retard' seriously?![]()

edit: would've been funnier if the actual image came along too.

the problem is that its coming from the club, someone in the club is feeding all this to the media.
