Thats going to be a big ask thay have two easy games and only the Toons stand in their way.

hate to say it but if we dont win the FA cup it might see us looking for a new manager.
we should give him another year and some cash in the summer to buy players with. I mean we gave Rafa cash after cash to buy players even when we was not winning anything.

who takes any notice of sports reporters?

as one of them put it.

Everton 7th
Liverpool 15th
can you keep the manager if it looks that at the end?

We are 4 points away from 15th, two home games left, going by our results this season it would be not shock to only get two or one point at them.If we come out of them two home games with one 1 point then 15th is very real.[/quote]

I'm sure Everton will be jumping through hoops....finished above Liverpool who cares they have 2 cups...we finished 7th na na na na na

do me a favour .....sports reporters and lakes and LFC online associates ....winning trophies is better than winning fu.ck.all

just listen  to the bitters crying.....finishing above us will be no compensation for the hurt they are suffering at this moment :D

in truth...the owners, the reports make it onto FOX Sports news but even worse it that the club they have put money into are not spoke about and only the top 5 clubs get spoken about, the friends then say "hows that club you have put money into getting on?"

Media is everything in todays world and if you dont work with it you are a fool.

hit the post 30 times! it just dont happen.
we have had the ball cleared off the line 15 times (not my state)

you could say that we should or could have had another 45 goals lol

I think the team have looked very good over the last few games just the results dont show it.
Yes at the end of the day the owners will look at the bit of paper with the prem results on it and not be happy but they need to know that this club has been knocked down for the last 6 years and re built  as a Cl club. now we dont have a full set players that know who to win in the prem and Kenny is changing that but its going to take time.

Rafa is a great bloke but as many pointed out that one day we would pay the cost for him just looking at the CL as one day we would not have won the games in the prem to put us there. Rafa was faced with a club that had now idea how to win in the CL but he had a good team in place to work with from the start.
Roy came in and had no idea what he was getting himself into, he was faced with a team that did not know how to win any more. Kenny has tried his best and taken players to the club that are now starting to show what they can do.
I feel next year could be a great year for us under Kenny.

Nice post. The truth is that we were already this bad. Woy couldn't save us. Kenny, for me, IS saving us. As Thommo said, this is an extraordinary season. We need to just let it go and not allow it to change the focus of the bigger picture. There is VAST improvement even if it dosen't currently show on paper. I hope FSG are capable of anaylising the situation well. At the end of the day I support LFC and Kenny is the manager, so he gets my full backing until things change. Others are entitled to their own views, but I so wish they would still back the team whilst having those views.

Well said

I hear other fans say that Kenny will not build a better liverpool team. lets face it GH had a hard time near the end but look at what he got the club to win and when he took over the club was in a right mess. Rafa for the first few years set the club up as a great CL club but with G&H as owners the moneys was never going to be there to keep his high turnover of players going and soon we hit the skids.

Kenny needs time, he is not just trying to build a new team, he trying to build pride again.

Luck plays little or no part in a successful team and the trick is to take
that side of the game completely out of the equasion.

Liverpool are not unlucky they are an average, mid table football team.

If your good enough you dont need luck at all and the only teams that rely
on breaks are those that have nothing else to offer.

You will see when we are good enough because the table will show it and
you wont hear a peep about the ref or bad luck at all.

well thats just got to be the worse post you have ever made, any more you would like to add?
lol

Lets face it you called for Rafa, Roy to be sacked would you now like Kenny to get the sack.
WE all know that i said Rafa should never be our manager from the day before he come here but I still lived in the hope that he would show that i was wrong and we would win the prem.

I am going to stick by Kenny , yes part of that is due to my age and being there in the KOP when we last won it (well DIV1) but he knows good football and has what it takes to make us great again and be the best we have ever been in the prem.

I would keep sacking them until we get it right.

Rafa was done at Liverpool, Roy was done earlier and Dalglish is done now.

I think Dalglish knows hes finished, doesnt even looked that arsed anymore
post match.

I mean come on, bad luck, the ref, were shyte.

BTW did anyone hear Eileen Drewery for DOF?  :D

Can someone please explain the difference between missing the goal by a yard and hitting the post, in my mind they are both misses and it has nothing to do with bad luck, just lack of skill.

I'd actually be very surprised if a Newcastle fan would swap their season for ours, they are going to be playing CL football next season unless something dramatic happens in the next few games, whilst we could well end up in the bottom half of the table.

I am staggered by the people who say that the team is progressing, we certainly aren't progressing in terms of winning games are we?

I have said it before and I'll say it again, I will be amazed, simply amazed if he is still our manager next season.

Kenny's service to the club over the years ensures that my loyalty towards him has been earned, he's worked bloody hard for this football club, no way I'm gonna call for his head

I understand why people are on his back and it wouldn't surprise me if the Yanks pull the trigger but if the decision was mine he'd get another year at least
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Apologies, forgot about your red specs which narrow the field of vision so effectively.  :D
If I was Pardew I'd be more than happy reaching 4th spot in the league, having spent sod all money, now THAT is a real achievement, compared to managing a team in the league worse than Souness.
