In all seriosuness kenny playing for us again could be no worse than Carroll, I can't imagine he'd be any slower and he'd probably have a better idea how to score a goal.  :D

kenny has steadied the ship, trophy in the cabinet, semi final of the FA cup - he's done a good job after all that we've been through in the last few years.

BUT for me Liverpool is all about winning the league. Consistency is again lacking (has been for 20 years) and unfortunately we havent made the progress that I would have liked. we've also spent a lot of money.

I voted yes. think Kenny is a LEGEND but I now think we need a change. Weve tried promoting from within(Evans), experienced(Hodgson, Kenny), european(Benitez), former player (Souness).

Personally I would go for a young hungry manager - Wigans Roberto Martinez. Brendan Rogers at Swansea is getting all the plaudits there for their style of play and performances against the big teams BUT it was Martinez who set up their style of play and was instrumental in developing their young players. When interviewed he talks a lot of sense never slags off the referees, gives an honest appraisal of his teams performance.   Wigan arn't the best team in the world but you can see that he is trying to get his players to play his style - keep the ball and pass and move. the Liverpool of old. That style of play with the better players would be exciting.  He also knows the spanish league well might pick up a few bargains!

Yes a young hungry manager might be just what FSG go for it, I think that's their style. In all honestly I'll be amazed if kenny is the manager for next season.

I've seen how some fans can turn on managers and I don't want to see that happen. But mostly I think there are better options out there to take us forward and as a club we need to use our heads.

Care to put these great managers names forward?

Kenny to stay, Carragher to train under him, and then to lead us to future glory. Ive said it before, and I stand by it. This is our future.

If you honestly think that will make Liverpool champions i feel sorry for you. Your heart is maybe in the right place, but your brain ain't. Wishful thinking will get us nowhere.

Kenny got his boost replacing Roy. Roy might not be the worlds greatest but in my opinion he was destined to fail. Any manager taking over Liverpool at that time was destined to fail. The club was facing bankruptcy and the situation was chaotic. Rafa got his balls squeezed the final 20 months of his tenure and could not work here any more. That's sad because the club was always just a second striker away from that sweet prize we all wanted. And when our striker was injured we unfortunately ended up drawing games instead of winning them.

Now Kenny complains about tired legs and say we lack freshness since we play Carling and FA cup. Fair enough, he got slated for that. Benitez however got slated for resting players to prevent tiredness and injuries promoting competition. Wasn't that in all fairness a smart move considering Kenny's guys getting tired from playing Wigan and Cardiff? (I suppose the required tempo and fitness level when playing Real M, Milan, Benfica, Bayern M is not comparable to Kenny's tiredness from QPR and Cardiff).

The club is not going forward or sideways. It is going backwards. And Kenny's responsible for turning a consistent Champions League big 4 club into a pool of Sh*t. Kenny should step down this summer making the way for an exodus of his remarkable signings like Adam, Carroll, Coates (incredible spending 10 million on a slow big unproven defender when the situation was starting to get ugly), Henderson, Downing and maybe Enrique as well. (Either he has been trained poorly (I have my doubts about the training staff hired by Kenny as well, but Enrique started off fairly good before he somehow turned into Phil Neville so maybe proper training could set him off again?) so his form has suffered or he may be another shocking signing).
