I'd LOVE Carroll to sock it to those Geordie a.rses. Check treatment room for injury status  :;):

Hopefully, a win here and this is where our season will start.  :buttrock

I play football with Geordie (he is actually from Newcastle) so we better win so I can take the mick out of him when we meet up for football next week :wwww  :D

However, I'm not too confident about this game so I hoping for a draw.

1-1

i'm going and i take solace from the fact that we can't be any worse than we were against sunderland and wigan. newcastle are missing their first choice centre backs and possibly tiote.

having said that i don't know whet the hell to expect. we usually play better against better sides.

:D

i worked it out the other day. i've been to 14 away games in the last 3 seasons and only twice have i seen us score more than 1 goal (2-0 sunderland last season, 2-0 villa this season). i was also at stoke this season where we actually played really well but somehow lost. bolton and sunderland was utter dross though.

hopefully sunday will be a repeat of last season when some bloke called carroll ran the show

Really dreading this. We were awful v Wigan. Would definitely give sterling a start.

With collicini out they won't be strong at the back we just need our defence to be on their game as ba and cisse will be full of confidence.

My team for the game

                                    Reina
           Coates.         Carragher.        Skrtle
Flanagan                                             Enrique

                Gerrard.            Henderson

Suarez.                Carroll.                    Sterling

2-1 Liverpool

It would be the ultimate embarrassment to lose this game with 2 former Newcastle players in our first team. Not mentioning what one of them cost us but I think we have all had enough of that topic!

This game is a lose lose situation the way I see it:

If we win: Proves nothing other than forcing questions to be asked of our recent results, why didn't we do that last week or the week before and are still trailing behind Newcastle so far into the season.

If we lose: We look like a completely incompetent lot who got ripped off by Newcastle who used that money to sign better players & achieve better results in the league.

The only way out of this is to win every game until the end of the season & hope that Newcastle, Chelsea & Tottenham lose most of their games.....   :(

looking forward to this and hopefully the lads are as well.
the motivation is there for andy for this one so hope he starts and turns in a performance.
hard to know what team we will play as agger, johnson, kelly and bellamy are listed by physioroom.com as being available on 1st april so its possible we might see agger and johnson return.if they are available for selection id go for,

                                       reina.
     johnson          skyrtel             agger        enrique.

                                   shelvey
      kuyt                            gerrard               downing.
                                                    suarez.
                                       carroll.
bellamy, maxi, coates, hendo, spearing, kelly, sterling isnt a bad bench to choose from either.id like to see shelvey start as he's a good forward thinking player who can tackle and has a good eye for a pass and can deliver if given a chance.it would be great if sterling gets another 15mins in the side towards the end.
they cant be taken too lightly either as they do play some good stuff and have a few in form players but i expect us to seriously up our game for this and id go for 3.1 to us :nod .

sadly, the way we've been playing recently i can't see any other outcome than us getting beat. it'll be good to have agger back in, lets just hope he can get back up to speed immediately.

Strange but the barcodes aren't confident of 3 points in this either...well all of the ones I've spoken to aren't anyway

Injuries and poor form may force Kenny to play an experimental team.

                     Reina

Kelly     Coates     Skrtel     Robinson

              Coady     Henderson

    Gerrard     Suarez     Adorjan

                    Morgan

Subs: Carroll, Sterling, Downing, Spearing, Enrique, Carragher, Doni
