Patience wears thin eventually.

It's been a tough few years for this club, so it's understandable that people will yearn for brighter horizons. People who say we have made progress season are right. We have made progress, but not in the league and that's the most disappointing thing for me. You just wonder how much more investment is needed in the squad to really get it competing with the likes of Spurs and Arsenal and how much investment does the club need to get up to the level of the two Manchester clubs?

Comolli says that not much transfer activity will take place in the summer, well I think he needs to re-think this. We need a creative midfielder and a clinical striker.

Let me just add... i personally wouldnt sack Kenny... i would give him one more season, and whatever money spent in the summer comes from sales (offloading carroll, adam and whoever else).

I say i would give him another season PURELY because of who is he and what he has done for the club, in any other circumstance i wouldn't.

Had he spent nothing and we sat were we are.. then id say.. well hes had nothing to spend, his hands were tied.
Kenny has spent 100 million, and four squad players from last season statistically contributed more than his 75m outlay
Meireles > Adam
Maxi > Downing (who i like btw)
Ngog > Carroll
Shelvey > Henderson

When you spend a fortune on average players and make the team weaker, your position will come under scrutiny. Had Woy been in charge and signed these he would already be out the door.

It won't happen and that's why i fear he has to go. He's blind to the fact that Downing, Adam, Carroll and Henderson are a historic waste of money...and if he can't accept that then he has to go

To be fair, we could have Guus Hiddink here and he could sign players like Cardozo and Toni Kroos and you'd still be on here whinging. I remember your constant whinging under Rafa Benitez.

Kenny....

"It's very difficult to explain. We played some fantastic football. We were deserving of our lead and we weren't even under pressure.

"With a wee bit of care and better finishing we might have been three or four up at half-time.

"You just couldn't see a goal coming from them and maybe the luck they didn't get against Bolton they got here."

Luck. I wonder how many times he has used the word luck in his post match interviews.

If this was happening under Rafa Benitez a vast majority of fans would be calling for his head, oh wait that did happen in the 2009/2010 season.

Kenny is beginning to resemble Woy

Kenny we conceded goals because QPR had free reign to waltz through a midfield that has an average 5ft nothing jay spearing anchoring it.

What is it 2 league wins in 14?

Rafa had his go and the team, and Rafa, had gone stale. That's in the past.....i'm waiting for someone to tell me how it's possible to move forward while our manager refuses to accept his own failings.

It's the ultimate downfall for any manager...it happened with Houllier and it happened with Rafa. Both made poor signings and both refused to accept it and persisted with them regardless of the results. Kenny's gone down the same route

How do you know what Kenny refuses or not - as i said just because you say someone is a failure it doesnt become the truth or fact.

Kenny could be just talking ***** to the press and saying something different behind closed doors but you are the sort of person who swallows up every word in the press as if its fact and gospel.

You know I wouldnt disagree with too much of that, but its been the story of out season really hasnt it? The big difference here compared to other games however was that once they did score we absolutely feel to pieces. Martin Skrtel has been magnificent this season but he couldnt put a foot right in the last 15mins.

Bullshiite all our goals were conceeded due to our RB\LB inability to close their players and our keeper sticking to the goal line instead of controling the box. Jay had a good game.

I think Kenny doesn't want the hassle anymore of the stress of managing, training day in day out, dealing with the press etc. And probably feels a bit 'old' out there in the dugout. He walked out on Liverpool, quit at blackburn and newcastle so I do wonder if he is just taken this job to ,'help out'.

You clearly haven't watched any Rafa Interviews. He openly admits he made mistakes in the transfer market, indeed in his last season with us he admitted that he got things wrong, so you're talking nonsense.
