No, why should he?

His crime for me was telling Kenny he was going to shake the other pr!cks hand and then didn't. In that he let Kenny down.

As far as Evra is concerned, I cannot put into words the contempt I have for that pr!ck. I sympathise with Suarez here, how can you shake the hand of a man who got you banned for 8 games, dragged your name through the mud, and has managed to drag your club down through unbelievable depths through the "racist" card that he played. And played at a club that has the FA in their pocket.

Suarez was wrong on one account, he let Kenny down, that is all.

maybe my mistake but thought i heard ian ayre saying something like the club will consult with the pfa over this and the decide a suitable fine/punishment.

:D are you havin a laff RtID...  where did ya hear that nonsense in yer head   :rasp

From skysports:

Uruguay captain Diego Lugano has backed Luis Suarez and claims the Liverpool man 'showed balls' in not shaking Patrice Evra's hand.

Suarez sparked outrage before kick-off of last weekend's clash with Manchester United when he snubbed Evra, who the Uruguayan had been found guilty of racially abusing in October to subsequently receive an eight-match ban.

In the wake of the incident, Liverpool and Suarez apologised for the refusal to shake hands, but the player and the Anfield club have still been widely criticised.

Suarez's international team-mate Lugano claims the whole uproar is nothing more than a "football argument" and believes the furore surrounding Suarez is just a circus.

"He has gone through a few months he did not deserve. Everyone in football knows it is a big circus," Lugano told his official website.

"Take into account that England is historically a colonial country and racism is a sensitive subject, but we all know it has nothing to do with what happened between Luis and the Manchester United player.

"It's a football argument, and many false moralists and hypocrites have profited, and Luis is the only innocent party in this situation.

"For what he did on Saturday Luis must have balls. He followed his convictions.

"We live in a democracy and if you do not want to greet someone, do not greet them."

Suarez has also won support from Uruguay presidet Jose Mujica felt the situation with Evra had been hyped up.

"There is solidarity with Suárez. Suárez is not a racist and never will be," Mujica Uruguayan radio station M24

"He's a young genius on the football field, [and] humble."

*********************

I agree, it was a football argument that turned childish nothing more. It is different in England in regards to sensetivity about racism but these are both foreigners talking a differnt language and Evra said himself at the hearing that Suarez was not a racist. This was a circus and Evra milked so I am not surprised that Suarez did not want to shake hands with that c0ck. He did stick to his guns and I respect it. What I am left with is how much I hate Ferguson. He does not really have honor and frankly that is why he is so successful.

In South America due to his black hair, he would probably be called "Negro". It means a different thing there.

Uruguay president supports Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, insisting 'he is not a racist' and row has been 'exaggerated'

The president of Uruguay has defended Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, insisting his compatriot "is not a racist and never will be".

16 Feb 2012

Jose Mujica felt the situation surrounding the 25-year-old Liverpool player and his eight-match ban for racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra had been over-hyped.

Speaking to Uruguayan radio station M24, the president said: "There is solidarity with Suarez. Suarez is not a racist and never will be."

In a separate interview, with weekly newspaper Busqueda, he added that the case had been "exaggerated".

"There is nothing racist," said Mujica, adding that "some do not understand" Suarez and did not study "diplomatic protocol".

Mujica added: "He's a young genius on the football field, (and) humble."

The president's support came hours after Uruguay captain Diego Lugano gave his backing to his international team-mate in the wake of more criticism for not shaking Evra's hand in last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford.

"Keep in mind that England is a country historically colonial and racism is very delicate, but we know that has nothing to do with the relationship between Luis and the United player," he told Uruguayan television station Canal 10.

Lugano added that Suarez "has gone through a few months he did not deserve".

"All of us in football know it's a big circus. For what did Luis on Saturday must have balls. He followed his convictions," said the defender who plays for Paris Saint Germain - the side today linked with a summer move for Suarez.

"We live in a democracy and if you do not want to greet someone, do not greet them."

Italian side Palermo have admitted they would consider making a shock bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, who is reportedly unhappy with the way he has been treated in England following his eight-match ban for racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra.
Full story: Metro
Or maybe French club Paris Saint-Germain are the ones to offer Uruguayan Suarez an escape from the Premier League limelight.

Wish these unsettling tabloid rumours would stop

Suarez wont be going near any team in France, however I think there is about 1% chance he will stay with us.  :(
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

REST IN PEACE PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

He owes Kenny for backing him, I really hope he still wants to stay with us. And if he goes it will look like everyone was successfull in getting him out of England and in process weakening us. We should do the opposite and get more Uruguayans here, starting with Cavani :D

One one hand I wouldnt blame him for going. This countrys press and media are total embarrassments and full to the brim with hypocritical, pathetic gobsh'ites. On the other hand is four fingers and a thumb.
Suarez must realise he will not get better fans or a club who would support him like us.

.. and we know what he feels for us:
http://www.goal.com/en-gb....bs-ajax

The forward has been under intense media scrutiny for his refusal to shake Patrice Evra's hand before the Reds' clash with Manchester United last weekend.

The Uruguayan was returning from an eight-match ban for allegedly racially abusing the Frenchman, a matter over which he has protested his innocence throughout.

On Thursday night Ajax fans sang songs for Suarez whilst banners were carried by Nacional players and displayed by their supporters throughout their loss to Libertad in the Copa Libertadores.

One banner translated to: “Wash your mouth out Ferguson before talking about Suarez,” whilst another read: “Suarez is from Nacional. Evra must be from [arch-rivals] Penarol”

Suarez tweeted: “I want to say thanks for the great support that the Liverpool fans have given me in these last days.

“I would like to say thanks again to fans of Ajax for what [they] did today.

“As you know I am Uruguayan, and I defend the selection team, so I want to say thanks too [sic] the fans, players and managers of NACIONAL for their great support today!

“A million THANKS for everybody!”

Suarez also received the support of Uruguay's President Jose Mujica, who said: “Our solidarity is with Suarez, that wonderful boy who in a football field has given us so much joy, because first of all we love him.

“He’s a child born from poverty who’s leagues away from having received academic training in diplomatic protocol.

“He’s great in a football field because he has in him the wonderful miracle of that art and he does not deserve the media pressure in which they have put him through, because we clearly know that he wasn’t, isn’t and will never be racist.”

Lets keep-up the support for our STAR MAN !!!!

Hope your all tweeting your lurve to him.. I am .. :)
