realistically we are 5 players off being a very good team in my opinion

And if you don't restrict yourself to overpriced British talent, then you can get very good quality players for 20 millions each...

Think I agree with much of what you're saying there Andy.
For me it's not just last nights "interview" that has me wondering about Kenny's approach to dealing with the media, rarely does he give a straight forward answer to even the most innocuous of questions.
Even when we've won and he's asked what he thinks of how well a particular player has done, instead of a simple "he's had a great game" we get instead something like "it's not just about him, there's a lot of others contributing"
Love the fella to bits for all he's done for the club and he'll always be a legend for me BUT his dismissive attitude to almost any question put to him makes me wonder why he even bothers to turn up for the post match inquest.
Yeah the media are generally a bunch of sharks and fk them, but for us fans that are watching I'd love to hear more than just a stream of Kenny answering a question with yet another abrasive/defensive question.
TBH I'm slightly embarrassed by Kenny's demeanour when it comes to his post match responses, tongue rolling round his gob while he searches for a response that generally lacks the wit or wisdom he displayed as a player..

I wouldn't pick many, perhaps 1 or 2 at most but they have a balanced team with dangerous forwards and know how to get the best out of their players.
We had a major revamp of our squad, apart from 2 or 3 senior players we have a youngish squad and most will improve.

Are you serious, I don't like them but I'd take Rooney, Berbatov, Nani, Ferdinand, Giggs and Welbeck without to much debate and possibly even Evra although the thought makes me shudder and feel quite nauseous.

I enjoy watching the football we are playing now, in fact I would say its some of the best football we have played for some time (maybe be since before Houllier). We attack teams now, we keep possession of the football and we look strong at the back. We just need more goals. Our ocnversion rate is woeful, the worst in the league but I would be more worried if we were making no chances and leaking goals every game.
