Agreed....even if there was a possibility of a lastminute.com deal...

We have just knocked the top two teams out of the domestic cups. I believe, like KK, that our current squad is good enough to win two cups and finish in the top 4. Others should feel the same and stop whining that we arent bringing anyone new in.
We still have Suarez to come back. He will be lke a new signing...

had this conversation with you before and that post was a joke rather than a whinge.
yes i agree we have gone well in the cups but dont for one minute think we have them in the bag.
brilliant news that suarez is back and he should be chomping at the bit to get going. i hope he was working on his finishing during his absence because goals were a problem when he was here and they still are a problem now so hopefully he can be more consistent now that he's rested.

take bolton out of the equation as that was just a really bad day at the office, but last night was a perfect example of why we're set up to be a better team away from home. thought we played some brilliant stuff on the counter attck second half. it suits us when we can soak up pressure and can then hit the likes of bellamy and suarez on the break.

The one thing i didnt expect from Kenny Dalglish was negativity. We are dull.

At home we play as if we are away, set up with five in midfield, two holders, and then Kuyt on the right.

We have 14 goals in 12 games, and 7 draws (8 if this finishes level).

Respect to the fans who fork out money to watch us.

One criticism i would have would be the chant "attack attack attack" needs to start appearing more, force his hand, also start boo negative changes. The negativity of the manager was something i wasn't expecting. On the rare occasions we do attack there are very few up there, most shots are from distance. We set up at home like a team that is playing away, trying to pinch a win. Spearing, who barely completed a pass, should have been off after half time. Suarez should have started. To take off both Bellamy and Kuyt when we need a goal shows a lack of balls. The reason whiskey nose keeps winning leagues is because he goes for the throttle. There is no five men in midfield when its 0-0 at home.

I had previously thought it was his poor british signings that were to blame, but we will not get 4th because we have a manager who wont go all out and take it. 4 wins at home, 14 goals in 12 games, the most boring season at Anfield in memory.

league games. (Btw the Man u game was dull for 87 minutes and they had control of most of it. We pinched the lead completely against the run of play, then got a winner from a goal kick.)

The facts speak for themselves, 4 home wins and its February. 14 goals from 12 games.

Stick your head in the sand and declare all is well if you want.
