However his finishing is not clinical enough to get us back to top 4 and we desperately need a clinical finisher in the class of Rush/Fowler/Owen/Torres to compliment him. But I saw on the BBC website after the 0-3 loss to City  that Kenny said he won't be buying a replacement. I hope he was just being cagey about it but in fact working with Commolli behind closed doors to look for that much needed striker.

Spot on.

the verdict doesn't do justice imo, it covers Evra in a picture of innocence and there's more evidence to suggest Evra's as dodgy as Suarez in the report, but hey ho, it'll all be forgotten in no time. He got booed often enough anyway, so not a lot will change for him  :D

Luis Suarez YNWA. Every single player is working their bollux off to ensure that this ban means very little in the record books! After 4 games into the ban WE HAVE WON 3 AND LOST 1 and hopefully Luis you will have Wembley to look forward to.

I also think it's only 3, we need a new striker though, can you guys imagine Torres at his prime playing in front of Luis.

BTW I'm not in anyway suggesting we get Judas back but would love to see a really top striker at the club because Carroll sure as hell isn't one.

Torres is exactly the type of forward that would compliment Luis... a mobile forward, good finisher, and a football brain... its kinda infuriating that this never happened, but then again the spaniard no longer wanted to play for us so f'uck him.

Luis is a genuine #7... a Beardsley/Dalglish type...creative forward who drifts off the frontman, and will create as many as he will score. I dont go along with this "luis aint a prolific finisher"... he is. You have to remember that with us he has to carve out many chances for himself, and the shot is usually much more difficult (look at the curler at Stoke). If he was being served chances on a plate, which he isnt with us (bar his goal at Arsenal), then he'd convert. Rush had Dalglish, Fowler had McManaman, Owen and Torres had Gerrard... thus far Luis has had no one. The Fulham game last season (when he went around the keeper).. the pass Shelvey made that set him clear.. balls like that have been few and far between. Gerrard has barely played alongside him so he hasnt had many balls played through to him. We are not abundant with quality creative midfielders so Luis has had to forge something out of nothing, and the chance is much more difficult to convert.

Getting back to the issue, IMO LFC management was less than incompetent in the manner in which they allowed the team to be so badly outflanked in the PR aspect of this case. In fact we never even showed up on the PR front.

I live in the States and its hard to imagine a GM in any top sports franchise who would survive an extra day on the job with the shambolic manner we handled the PR side of this. Not to be misunderstood, I am not refering to the well founded support for Suarez.

Luis is three games into his 8 match ban and four games into his nine match ban which includes the one match ban for the finger at Fulham fans. Sorry for the confusion. SUAREZ BANNED FOR A TOTAL OF NINE GAMES: SO FAR WE HAVE PLAYED 4 WON 3 LOST 1

And once again no reference has been made to the foul and disgusting abuse that Evra admitted to using, presumably under oath, that actually started the argument in the first place.

Evra and possibly with the assistance of Ferguson and Manchester United have done their utmost to tarnish both the reputation of Suarez and LFC. This has gone on for years in one form or another and this is possibly the most distasteful saga to date.

A larger than ever worldwide audience will be watching the next Liverpool v Man United game and the abuse understandably will be at fever pitch. The winners once again will be the money men!
