I couldn't agree more. I have long hair and when I play football, I get called a hairy b*stard, hippy, scruff, the whole works. I respond with fat b*stard, lanky streak of p*ss, spotty f*cker....whatever. Afterwards we all go for a pint and a laugh.

Luis Suarez is taking extra English lessons to avoid a repeat of his ban for racially abusing Patrice Evra.
The Liverpool striker was given an eight-match suspension for calling the Manchester United left back ‘negro’ and feels the charge came about because of his lack of understanding of the language.
The word ‘negro’ is commonly used in a non-offensive way in Uruguay but despite arriving in Europe in 2006, Suarez claims he was not aware of its meaning in English.




When you have national newspapers basically stating he is innocent, the word ‘negro’ is commonly used in a non-offensive way in Uruguay, it really is scandalous the way he has been treated. As i said before, he wouldn't have OPENLY stated what he said (evidence which the entire case relied upon), and then claim he did nothing wrong, if he knew that word was racist. The whole thing has been a disgrace to the FA, the media, and anyone else who has castigated an innocent person.

dunno if it has been posted elsewhere...but a fan was arrested today for making racist gestures towards Evra 

Seen the cretin making monkey chants. 59 year old from North Wales. He looks abit "special". For me a life ban should only be the start of it (the club's action), on top of that should be jail time. Its a hate crime. These types should be removed from society.

I'm 100% with banning the person from attending anymore games for the monkey chants, but seriously jail? Is being racist worse than someone mocking the death of 96 people?
