Basically from teh report it has just been one persons word taken instead of anothers. How Suarez admitted saying Negrito once, and only once, and how it has all been taken just on the word of one man. And how Liverpool have accepted the punishment but state Suarez is innocent.

He did say wearing the tshirts may have been wrong in hindsight, but Barnes came across really well

Very interesting stuff from a player that was racially abused more than most and acted with absolute dignity and professionalism at all times and never once went crying to teacher when things were not going quite his way. Evra please take note!

You know what i just cant get my head around about all this is why so many of these anti racism -kick racism out of football- and so called chief football correspondents (like Patrick Barclay) equate our support of surarez as support for racism. i imagine that most of these people admire and have a huge respect for Nelson Mandela (and quite rightly so) i am also sure that whilst he was locked up in jail many of them demanded his release. Does this mean that i should call them supporters of terrorism , as thats what the South African government had found him guilty of ?    NO OF COURSE NOT     because i have the intelligence to realise that it was the wrongful conviction without evidence by a biased, currupt. evil, lying governing body which had a different agenda than the truth that people were so against by protesting his innocence . and they were not supporting a terrorist but rather condeming a wrongful  and unsafe conviction ! So why can these idiots not realise that the same applies here with our supporters and players backing luis

Many factors are involved here, 1) to gain the moral high ground on FIFA, especially Sepp Blatter, 2) Two racial cases popped up in a short time, one involving a foreigner and the other involving the captain of the English national team. An example had to be set, and heat had to be taken off Terry, 3) The fact that the player crying wolf plays for Man United.

Thierry Henry has apologised for his behaviour towards one of his own supporters after the recent Swansea v Arsenal match that Arsenal lost 1-0. Clearly the supporter said or did something to antagonise Henry and as a result Henry invited him onto the pitch according to press reports. Henry has apologised and confirmed that he should have behaved more calmly and used more appropriate language. I have read absolutely nothing to suggest that the FA are going to take any action. Why not? Reading between the lines it sounds as if Henry's behaviour was potentially threatening and bringing the game into disrepute.The fans behaviour sounds as if it was no better and could easily have caused serious trouble potentially leading to violence. Both the fan in question and Henry should be held accountable. To me this is far worse than a couple of players have a playground spat that involved nobody else and was heard by nobody else.
