Bad Bob wrote:Oh and, Metalhead, good shout on Criminal Minds, although they've lost the plot big time this season IMO.  For some reason, they thought ditching AJ Cook (JJ) for this new character was a good idea.  It wasn't. :no

Their early seasons with Mandy Patemkin (sp?) were quality and the last few have been enjoyable (I esp. liked James VanDerBeek as a schizo serial killer :D ) but I think the show's cleared the proverbial marine predator.

They are also going to ditch prentiss (paget brewster) :(

I think the one who replaced AJ Cook is kind of hot, especially that her dad was a serial killer :D

??? .

Disagree, 18 episodes in the series and it came to a fairly satisfying conclusion.

Considering it's a prequel to BSG it's not as if we couldn't figure out what would happen next.

:D

dude, Caprica totally sucked compared to BSG, it was just a mess, too many storylines trying to get us close to what was to follow. If they had just stuck with Eric Stoltz and his daughters staories, left out all the rest and it might have worked.

Just too messy, glad its gone :eyebrow

Top notch as usual. Can't say anything because it would ruin it a bit for you, but that in itself should give you an indication of some of the suspense.

Speaking of Caprica, I thought it was canned too soon as it was only just starting to gather momentum. It was a bit too slow to start, though. Nevermind. A sequel to that is planned called Blood and Chrome, and it's about the cylon revolt.

Was at an exhibition today for some upcoming shows and saw some good stuff. Bruce Parry and Brian Cox came on the stage to talk for a bit too. Wonders of the Universe looks awesome. Also fyi there will be another stargazing live probably next Jan. Some other great shows to look out for too.

Louis Theroux goes back to that most hated family in america, and theres some new 2 parter in some jails in America... some other cool stuff too.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Well that enough of review for me to give that sex and sandal show another chance

I just started watching Deadwood again and after seeing Jim Beaver.

Was wondering anyone still watching Supernatural series 6?.

Well after the disappointment of Camelot, not even Eva Green wonderful assets can make up for obnoxious muppet in the lead role.

I have to say fantasy sword epic Game of Thrones certainly looks far more promising after just one episode. Good production, some nice totty ,  intriguing story and Sean Bean carrying a big sword, no more needs to be said

Keep us posted on Game of Thrones, Laz.  I couldn't decide if it looked good or cheesy (or both!).  I'm down to watching only one new show these days: Fringe.  I've not seen anything of Supernatural Season 6 and by all accounts am not missing anything.  I'm also awaiting the DVD release of the latest Dexter to catch up (no spoilers! ).  Instead of contemporary telly we've been working our way through all of the seasons of Homicide: Life on the Street...for all intents and purposes, the precursor to The Wire.  We're almost done season 6 of 7 now and it's been quality stuff.
