Couldn't find the old telly thread so here's a new one for the New Year.

Anyone got any recommendations for stuff to look out for ?


I've been rewatching "Band of Brothers" and if anything it's been even better 2nd time around. From the same team I'm really looking forward to

The Pacific


+ a bit more

US airdates March 2010

new series of mad men about to start over here. brilliant show.

more looking forward to films this year to be honest. alice in wonderland, robin hood, toy story 3 and iron man 2.

lost will finally finish and we'll be able to say definitively whether it was an inspired masterpiece or a pile of absolute bollox with guns and totty. the only tv event of any significance that i'm aware of.

You haven't seen that yet? Was the best thing on TV back in 2001. I can't believe it's been that long. I might just go and watch it again soon before The Pacific.

I also hope Breaking Bad returns.

Well get round to watching it. It's absolutely class. Prossibly the best thing on TV last decade.

Past Life - kind of like fringe, but looking at peoples past lives

Bored to death - Jason Schwartzman and the fat guy out of the hangover - a writer has a breakdown, becomes a pi... quirky

Mercy - for the ladies, another hospital drama

White Collar - criminal finally caught helps the FBI catch the real baddies
