Shocking, disgusting, i dont like the fella, but being sacked for this is bloody stupid. Would this have happened if the woman linesperson would have said, "Wow look at Carlton coles shlong when he runs" would it buggery, wed have all laughed.

I think Sky had no choice really. They should take this opportunity to refresh the commentary team with some new faces. Maybe even look into employing female presenters...

...Especially good looking ones with big t!ts and the kinda red lipstick you would like to see around your bell-end.

then Richard Keys must be going to be sacked too, he is the one that said most of it.

ok just seen all 3 vids on sky news and i can see why they sacked him.
bit of saving face for sky there.

I appreciate the comments re.lineswoman could be construed as over the top but the video of the pair in the studio with the fellow female presenter is appalling.

Its obvious to see that the woman is highly embarrassed and turns away. She is probably a fraction of his age and whilst Gray and Keays think it's hilarious to me it's seedy.

I know it's how it's perceived in the work place, I for example over the years (being the good looking young vibrant person I am

) have always made little innuendos with women in the workplace and they laugh it off but for example: we did have an older fella about 60 who use to work in my work place who would make those comments and women just label him as a dirty old man.

They were just having a bit of banter, nothing sinister. Apparently the said lines woman has been removed from the cup match she is to officiate in tonight. Why?To protect her from what? These are the pressures that female officials must face up to, and now she is being protected already. Absolute joke.

Even though Gray was and is a total knob jockey his "ahhhh... YOU BEAUUUUTY..." commentary when Gerrard sunk that goal against Olympiacos will be forever engrained in my memory. I thank him for that but for everything else.. Good riddance. :eyebrow
