I am merely using the analogy of how bad we were against wolves due to the managers team selection, tactics, formation and substitutions.
It was totally down to Roy so by the same analogy he must have got it spot on because we won

Yes, it was a famous victory against formidable oposition for sure.  ???

This is why I will never subscribe to Sky for sports. The sad thing is, that there are some d*ckheads out there in our fanbase that take Grays and Sky Sports word as fact. They put Hodson on a pedestal and got him in the job, now they are trying to hide the fact that they've been made to look like total ballbags by no other than their mate Roy himself. They don't get this football club. They never will.

Im surprised to think that those fans who thought (and still think) that Roy could do a good job are all ball bags!

What pains me more amongst a lot of fans on here and other forums is the need for the told-you-so attitude. It doesnt help. On the flip side to those that want him and Liverpool to be a success is also the witch campaign to get him sacked no matter what.

Win our games in hand and get the additions we so badly need and we could be only 5-6 points off a champions league position. Now, whilst im not saying we'll get there, if we get 6th place then we have European football again.

This club has been raped by its former owners, and if anyone thinks one man, whether it be Roy or Rafa is to totally be blamed, then you need to support the bitters or Newcastle.

As fans we know we have had dark days, but there are signs of optimism at the club. All season long we are going to have this one step forward, one back problem.

Now we have owners who can back us financially. Shrewd investment in the team, (debated in other threads) and we could easily be challenging at the top next year, because the premier league gap has shrunk over last couple of years. No longer one powerhouse. (city could create a gap if they keep spending, but for how long).

It would be nice to come on here and read some good discussion, but itt'll probably go back very shortly to the tit for tat.

One final thing, I really have major concerns as to whether Hodgson can get this club together, I feel he is never going to get all the fans support and maybe the owners too. Personally, I've championed Owen Coyle and would love to see him take the helm at this great club, but until then, I'm gonna back the gaffer and players.

Roy isn't largely to blame for the mess the team is in but he's not the man to put it right in the long term and that's the point.

Yesterday we had the players backing up Hodgson and today ex players pleading for the fans to get behind him. Maybe we just need to back off for a bit and give him a little support, room to breathe, and see where that takes us. It may help him and the team. I was calling for him out myself but if you are getting all these lads inside the club saying stuff like this to the fans maybe its time for a few weeks truce to take the heat off. End of day it doesnt look like there will be major investment in the squad this month so he cant do any damage in the transfer market and his position will no doubt be reviewed in the summer. You get the feeling Hodgson needs 6 or 7 wins in a row just to keep fans at arms length but a draw or worse at Blackurn and it will all kick off again before we go down the road to face the mancs.

I dont particularly care if roy and fergie are friends or not. But if fergie considered roy a threat the tone would be completely different from him.

At last some sanity
All this hysterical calling for Hodgsons head helps no-one
Were 9th not 19th so lets not get carried away with the doom and gloom
Maybe we are back on track with the performance against Bolton? One things for sure, if we go at the mancs they will sh'it themselves. They were lucky to beat west brom and we could well turn them over

I admire your positivity though I prefer to be a realist and see things the way they are.

Stop the rot Roy must go!!!

I believe it proves once and for all that Hodgson hates scousers and is out of his depth as a manager
Hodgson out now!
Anyway, just watched the Bolton game again and I must say that Roy got his team selection, tactics, formation and substitutions spot on.
Well done to the manager and the players

  You are the mortar which holds the bricks of Roy's church together ....The Church Of Roy

You dont have to blow your load, but you could give some credit.
Benitez actually lowered my expectations when I knew we werent going to win the league with him in charge. He also lowered my expectations with his behaviour last season and the fact that we were dropping down the league.
I dont know if anyone could have come in this season and got us into the top four
