Yep, most of our players won't walk into the top 4 teams right now, they might be good squad players that is about it.

most of our players would struggle to get into the top 4's reserves.  :(

The problem we have now is that it's hard to tell if a player is underperforming because the entire team, regardless if it's the first 11 or the reserves, look lost for most matches. That has to be the job of the manager to find a system and a formation in a style of play that suits the individuals. Hodgson has clearly failed to do this. He has to take at least 80% of the blame IMO. Sooner or later, players just won't want to know or respond to his instructions. Our manager is supposed to be a leader. Where, if any times at all, have we seen leadership qualities in Roy? He consistently deflects blame from himself and puts it onto his players, then when his plans go t*ts up on the pitch, the players look to the man for instructions but instead find him either rubbing his face, scratching his chin, or his hole on the sideline.

Its more than too mate, I do agree that motivation isn't working, the ''arm around the shoulder'' type is not helping. However, some of our players are carrying on the same :censored: passion from last season to this season.

These players need to GO ASAP. Put any of the Liverpool fan on the field and they will play better than the dross we are seeing.

That's true, and I did say so last season and got flamed for it. Still, we're seeing the exact same style of play from the second string to the first 11. That, for me, says that the manager's plans and motivational skill are dire and not fit for this football club. If he can't get the best out of players like Torres, Kuyt, Gerrard etc, then he's the disgrace, not the players.

In fairness he is not sticking up for roy but spreading the blame equally. As much as roy isnt going to be our saviour, neither are many of our players, this is his point.

Wait a minute , i'm sure someone mentioned it before .Nine of those players who were involved tonight were part of the squad that finished 2nd on 86 points. Were they dogsh!t then or could it be that they are so demoralised by the manager and his tacticts and his style (or none style to be precise) of play that they are completely and utterly fecked confidence wise . They all to a man are ashadow of there former selves . Now is this purely coincedence or could there be another reason for this mass loss of form and ability .

so last season we where this bad then?  We weren't and Hodgsons inherited a bad squad?  Masher went good :censored: riddance. S.*i*e squad though RIENA CARRA JOHNSON GERRARD TORRES yep really s.*i*e. apart from mireles. In comes poluson Konchesky Cole yep really inherited bad signings i would say. FFS anyone who defends Hodgson now are mental and should request to be sectioned as you are a danger to the public aswell as yourself

tonight was the last straw for me. even lower than the blackpool defeat. we offered nothing and ended up lumping long balls forward to a centre half against a team who have the worst away record in all 4 divisions.

my mate texted me a minute ago and said that apparently the sky commentators were banging on about the team he inherited again. i mean ffs can't they see what's right infront of their eyes? the constant clueless tactics. the constant playing of players out of position.

a blind man could see that the shape of the team was all wrong. and don't even get me started on the ngog substitution. he offered far more than torres and changing strikers who are getting sod all service does nothing anyway.

wolves were by far the better footballing side aswell. utterly depressing. four points off the relegation zone.

happy new f#cking year.

Quote from the arl tw.at .

Roy said: "I'm getting used to the negativity. Kenny [Dalglish] was a rival for the job and it was given to me. He's a Liverpool legend.

"But I don't like it. It's the Kop's way of showing they are not happy with what the team is doing. We've had to live with negativity ever since I came here.

"The famous Anfield support has not really been there – there were problems with the owners and they have been singing for Kenny.

"I can only hope these 'fans' become 'supporters' as well because this is a time when the club needs support.

"The negativity does affect confidence."

Quote from me .

You horrible little man , you don't deserve to be anywhere near LFC . I f.uckin hope to god you resign before someone tries to give you a crack where you stand . You sorry excuse for a manager , you p!ss stained owl faced pensioner c.unt .

It's your turn to smell the roses lad. The top 4 has moved on...improved and we've gone backwards.

When we finished 2nd we had a spine of Reina, Carra (on form), Alonso, Mascherano, Gerrard and Torres.

Carra is injured
Alonso gone
Mascherano gone
Gerrard not fit
and Torres looks like he can't be ar$ed.

So...what's left? oh yeah, the average dross that clung to the team's coat tails. They aren't good enough...today proved it. They can't step up to the challenge and Johnson and Nando look like they don't want to know.

It's time to accept that our squad isn't up to it. We need to HUGE clear out and we need it now.
