but new managers need a bit of time to bed in, they dont always do better rught away, in fact Rafa took us a step back inthe prem when he come here, the year before under GH we made the cl by being in the top 4, the next year Rafa did not get us into the top 4 and would have missed out on the cl if they did not bendthe ruels as we won it.

You made Rafa sounded so lucky in winning the CL and when Rafa took over the squad, have you once heard Rafa complained once that we have a sh.it squad or just go about his business quietly? Wouldnt you consider that he has some class. A manager should also take all the criticism away from their players and Roy is not exactly doing that to protect the squad. And there is a big difference in getting 5th than where we are right now. We wouldn't be even qualifying for the Europa league next  year for Chris sake. Dont bring up Rafa unless you have something convincing to say and please give some constructive facts please.

I think most fans dont care who our manager is. We just want results. Even if it is Hiddink or Capello etc that are at helm but have the same dismal result and performance as Roy, we would be calling for his head also. Especailly he is embarrassing us with his press comments and abyismal result. We have options as let him go now and get someone to be interim till the end of the season. If he stay, most players will leave. If we do something and salvage the season in some way, it would be more convincing to the players that we are trying to improve the team rather than given up hope. If you think we play bad now, wait till we are so far out that the players just don't care as they have nothing to play for. By then, it would be too late even if Roy walks.

Why do people keep harking back to rafa when trying to defend hodgson ,like last season which was very poor by our standing makes this even worse season more acceptable . I'll make a comparison shall i ?

Atleats fans are split 50/50 on weather it was right to sack rafa and there is/was a debate to be had .

99.9% of fans know that hodgson is the wrong man in charge and should be sacked , be it now or the end of the season . Now there's a good comparison and no debate atall . Feckin clueless sh!te and total ineptitude on the grandest scale . He needs to stick to hunting mice after midnight in freshfields woods , he'd defo get more success there .

Yes, but apparantly he still commands and deserves respect, even though he's taking us for complete mugs and making a c*nt out of us on and off the pitch.

BTW, Igor, do you know anything about RAWK being down?

Igor I think a big part of it all is that even those of us that don't rip Roy a new :censored: hole at every turn know that he won't be the manager of LFC next season.

The club is still in a transitional phase and that transition will continue into the off season (when it is more likely that a more suitable manager can be signed on.  This is a period in which cooler heads need to prevail.  Yes Roy is not the man to take the club into this new era.  He is simply a stopgap through the transition.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Thing is, like you say, if Roy is a stopgap, then why didn't he get the memo? He certainly isn't talking like he think's he's one. In fact, he's talking like his sh*t don't stink whilst everyone elses does. He should keep it shut. Everytime he opens his gob, he lands his foot square in it.

The problem mate , is that while the gap is being stopped . We are loseing even more ground and going backwards . We can't afford to do that . We are now competeing withe the likes of birmingham and blackpool ffs where as 18 months ago we were competeing for the feckin league .

I think he's talking like someone who has been backed into a corner and is getting no support.  He's constantly on the defensive and his players aren't helping him out very much with their attitudes.

He's gotta know that he's only here for the season.  He's only on a two year contract.

has saint really been gone a year? :O

time flies
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Reina
Carragher
Agger
Aurelio
Lucas
Kuyt
Gerrard
Torres

this 8 were all part of the team that dismantled Manchester United 4-1 and Real Madrid 4-0

add in Joe Cole, Glen Johnson and Raul Meireles and that 11 should be in the top four atleast.

As i said before kids up to the age of 17 were allowed in last night, most of them kids have either not been able to get aticket before because of finace or have been taken by theedads last night for a traet hoping that one day theyll walk up everton valley together, But the dire performace that was put in will have half them kids well the younger ones, going home to there mams and saying ,dont believe him mam when hes getting all spruced up and exited on a sat/sun and says hes off the match, hes going somewhere else to get his exitement, its c.rap, its boring hes lying mam follow him, Never mind apologising to the journos about not playing Fernando he should be apologising to the fans who turned up last night, free or not, this is how some kids are swayed if thereyoung enough into going to watch other sides who i wont mention,

Yous lads are gonna start getting followed on a sat/sun exited from going the match , ha you lying b.stard

its more of a point that some members spent the last two years saying "back the manager" "true liverpool fans back the manager in hard times"  " your not a real fan if you dont back the manager"

yet this year they are all sack the manager.

two faced

for me i would like to see what sort of team roy would build.......if it :censored: then ask him to go, but he should be given his chance to do something.

Exactly. Just discuss what Roy had achieved so far and discuss neutrally would be more productive. There are only a few positives as I see Ngog had played better and also nice to see some of our younger players got the chance to play. Player like Kelly were impressive enough. Roy is unfortunate to be caught in an awkward position but this is a business. The owner had given him a chance to show what he can do but the result and the style of football is not there. So, tough and need to move on.
