He wasnt fecked off for fecking things up majorly like Rafa did last season.

Maybe buy some burger vans franchise i could see him being more affective at doing that. Time to move on and change careers.

Do you really think Rafa left because of the football ? IMO he left because of the board and the fallout with them - Rafa took his eye of the ball with his battles with the boardroom - he shouldnt but he didn because he wanted better for the club . If he was sacked because of the results then why didnt he go as soon as the season was finished - why was he signing players and sorting out contract extensions after the season finished .
It was one poor season in 7 - yes it was shocking but imo he should of been given the time to turn it around - he wasnt , he left and the board then replaced him with someone inferior who has taken us backwards . Its a shame he couldnt just leave the boardroom to their own battles as things might of been different .

He was a fairly consistent LB for us, whom was hardly ever injured and offered a genuine goal threat with that left peg of his. His defending wasn't THE best but it was decent enough and since Rafa bombed him out he never sorted that position out.

Riise got a ton of criticism especially in his last season. I remember him beeing a common scapegoat that year and at least half this forum wanted him out. Sadly Aurelio has been injured too much the fill the spot.
