what than then? that Rafa only got 5 more point in away games last year than Roy did lol

seem thats all this thread is about, R V R

I not a great fan of Roy but i will give him a bit of time as he has been stuck with almost the same team that was at the club last year. might be good to see what sort of team he can build...........or it might not be that much fun lol

You are the one poster out of everone who cosantly brings rafa up . I think it's fair to say that the vast majority of posters on have stopped refering to him ,apart from your goodself that is . He's gone we are over it and there is no comparison to be made .

more to the point that i use it to show how two faced some members have been over Rafa, one year they say its not the managers fault the team in not winning and we can not blame him and them as soon as the new manager is in and we still get the same results they are they first to blame the manager and ask for him to be sack yet they spent the last 4 years telling other members that are not real fans as they are not backing the manager? ???

do you see my point?

you're wasting your breath mate. Even when he gets sacked at Inter, for f**king it up over there, the Pro Rafa clan will still pretend things would be different if he was here.

Ciggy wrote:First off lets get this one out the way I didnt post when we got beat by Spurs or Stoke, secondly to call me and other people glory hunters because we dont like Hodgson is quite frankly ridiculas.
Those of you that hated Rafa and wanted him are you glory hunters? See the hypocracy in that?

Those of you being most vocal in your support of Roy, wanted Rafa out at all costs, and its killing you people that Roys here its just bravado.

This is the only Liverpool forum that he has a following on even the whoppers on the offal want him out.
But then again this forum was the most vocal in wanting Rafa out coinsidence? No I dont think so.

Why should I back a man I have no belief in?
Will he win us the league? Will he sh!te !!!
Will he win us the CL? Dont be feckin daft !!!
Will we be in the CL next season? Not unless another manager comes in asap !!!!

He's doing one thing well though he's breaking our records all over the shop the last time Liverpool where on - goal difference at this stage in the season was 57 years ago.

The last time we where in the relegation zone like he had us there a few weeks ago was also 57 years ago.

We are 17th in the away form league table http://www.statto.com/footbal....way
lets all get behind the manager hey, the manager who cannot win away from home, the english manager who knows the league inside out but cant win away from home why?
Because he's totally clueless and sets the team up first and foremost not to get beat and play for a draw.

Well Im sorry but its not good enough for my club, we expect to be challenging for every trophy thats on offer, i dont give a rats @rse if everyone hates us I prefer it that way instead we are being told other clubs like us now that nasty fat Spanish waiter has gone.

Wonderfull good old uncle Roy has friends everywhere whys that?  Because other managers are guarenteed 3 points against him when we turn up at their gaff, Fergie loves him, why? Because he is not and never will be a threat to him, never in a million years.

His whole out look screeches negativity, his demeanour is of a mediocre manager who cant believe his luck that he's been given the job at Britains most successfull club, he trys as much as he can to lower our expectations well I am not having it, I dont care he's making us a laughing stock no fears us any more and god forbid Blackpool could even do the double over us since when should we feel fear of Blackpool turning us over twice in a season?

Since we have a manager so far out of his depth that he's drowning and taking us down with him, steady the ship  ??? Iceberg ahead !!!

NESV need to act immediatly otherwise I question why they bought the club in the first place, our best players will leave if he stays Nando & Pepe wont stick around to be turned into english players, no CL for the forseeable future if he stays he will take us back so many years we will end up also rans like Villa, Blackburn & Everton mark my words !!!!

John Henry said we are winners, and we like to win about the Redsox, well Mr Henry our manager is making us look like total losers and if you want a return on your investment in the near future do the right thing for my beloved club before its to late.

Liverpool have taken just five points from a possible 27 on their travels – their worst tally at this stage of a campaign since 1962.

Get this fraud out of our club !!!!

Spot on.

Ciggy acts like a spoilt brat. She stamps her feet and screams in the hope that she'll get her way. tough sh!t love, our club is in a rebuilding process and we'll not be winning stuff until things have been fixed.

If that means getting a new manager, then so be it. But it will be done properly and over time with the RIGHT PEOPLE, and not on knee jerk decisions. Go and support Newcastle if you want things done otherwise.

Firstly, Ciggy's angry at the prospect of him still being here, which is perfectly understandable. Like ER was saying after the match, he's gotten so used to be sh!te away from home he's passed angry, that's pretty telling I would say

sorry but didn't everyone want Rafa out because we had the players to challenge but obviously weren't?

Hodgson isn't good enough, that's certainly my feeling on the matter. For all his experience in the game he has nothing in his CV that warrants him the Liverpool job IMO

so in reference to your use of the term 'right people', I suggest we find them
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing

World Class manager ???

We replaced a good one to an average, not a world class to an average.

I agree, Roy needs to go, its for the best.

Ciggy posts the same old drivel and drags this place down. She's never here when Roy's won and she never posts anything constructive either. She also shouts STAKER to anyone who replies to her posts with a question

Rafa took a lot of criticism, and in my opinion, quite legitimately so for overseeing sustained decline on the pitch. That gave as clear an indication as was needed that he wasn't going to be able to turn it around, and it followed that a change of manager was required. Having taken the treble winners to ten points off the top, a hammering at WHL, and a hammering at Werder Bremen, this "world class" manager shows no signs of regaining his touch. Criticism for sure, but hate? I don't think so. Going by some of the comments made against Roy on here, though - that he is an "owl faced kunt" who needs to "f'uck off" and "keep his mouth shut" (etc.) - it would not be unreasonable to think that he's something of a hate figure. I never thought it would come to that, but it seems that sections of our support really aren't that different at all to the supporters of Newcastle or Chelsea. Through the wind and the rain.....apparently not.

IIRC the issue is whether he's good enough or not. I didn't think naming his replacement was the big deal. I seem to recall similar sentiments not too long ago anyway ???

is exactly right.

I can see that Roy needs to go but there's better ways of going about things.

As Ive said, if the season would have ended in July we would have been near the bottom or even relegated. Thats how bad things had got.
All this childish foot stamping and name calling is very embarrassing and I hope the press never get wind of it because I will personally feel a cu'nt at being associated with these beauts

Well it's a given that Roy isn't the man isn't it? Or do you think he is?

Let's look at who's better, well there's currently 11 better in the Premiership, if the table doesn't lie.

We're never going to attract Guardiola or Maureen, so that leaves who's currently available, or who could be pursuaded to take control.

Joachim Low, Guus Hiddink, Frank Rijkaard, spring to mind I'd be happy with any of them, my favourite would be Rijkaard, CL Winner, double La Liga Winner, and for the most part the Current  Barcelona Squad was assembled/given their break in first team football by Rijkaard!

I also like his philosophy on the way the game should be played, he speaks the language and most importantly is Available.

So you now have a non Rafa reply, a Manager with a pedigree both as a Player and Coach, who can boast more than an LMA trophey and a couple of Winners Medal's in the Northern Reindeer Sledge Pulling Championship on his CV!

Your thought's please;
