An why Ben , doest matter were he goes in the ground , and he will be in the ground ill guarentee you that , hes gonna go the matches  over the Christmas , so it doest matter werabouts he is he will be spotted , and shown respect .

without wanting to start a huge arguement....

if Rafa loved Liverpool so much, why did he take millions in compo when he knew we were on the brink of administration?

He didn't take as much as houllier and he gave quite a bit to charities. He was :censored: over by the club so he was entitled to it. Was he supposed to just waive any comp? Had anyone even ever done that? Not in the modern game I don't think.

who do you support ?

I dont give a feck what he gave after he took millions before we were sold and he knew we were struggling for cash.

Let him come back in a couple years when things are hopefully a lot more settle and solid . We need to concentrate fully on the game and can't have any distractions and need the fans fully behind the team and not chanting for the previous manager

I don't really see what the problem is. Are people under the illusion that all who wanted Roy out before have done a 180 over a few games and that Rafa showing his face at Anfield will have them up in arms again? Doubt it

Let's not go down the compensation road again - we all know not one single person would of walked away with nothing or would they of turned down any compo .

behave

ego ego EGO is trying to land

When his team are getting blown away in serie a then i think he has bigger things to take care of than to come back here (so soon) stirring things up.

Gordon Strachan did, as have a few others.

To be fair I think he is only back here to spend the holidays with his family. Maybe he will go to a game maybe he won't. If the team puts together a good run of results then the fans will be behind the team regardless.

good post there...it's Rafa's biggest fault and, as you said, he won't improve his standing with the Inter fans if they turn on the telli and he's sitting in the stand over here.

Exactly.

Now imagine if Roy Hodgson went to a Fulham game over christmas, can you imagine the uproar on here? Roy would be criticised to high heaven for it.

Course they are. Very frequently in fact, on ESPN, on Sky and when they played Spurs, on ITV. Back then, before they went spectacularly t!ts up, you were keen to point out how being 4-0 up at half time "proved" that the club had made one of the worst decisions in its history. The opposite must now surely apply.
