Yeah I am.

We are not going to go out busting a lung and tiring players when the game is already won. 3-0 at half time  and we are able to bring the like of Shelvey on for a run out. But for their keeper we would have scored another few.

If it was 0-0 at half time and we score 3 in the second half, everyone is happy.......

So you don't think this would be a good opportunity to improve the goal difference then, anyway it's 7 days until the players have to lift a finger again, how much do footballers need to fecking rest these days???

Don't have to bust a lung. Just sit a bit higher up the pitch and pass it around them.

we took our foot off the gas in the second half for sure, but we still created a few chances. they definitely played a little better second half as well, but it would have been difficult not to. a good easy win for us all in all. 3 points, help the goal diff a bit, a great performance by mereiles in the middle, a good one from maxi and ngog and even a decent showing by poulsen. for the life of me i can't think of anything to bitch about.

Mildly disappointed that we didn't get a goal or two after the half, but overall, very nice win.  Maxi MOM for me.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Not true. They still have to train. I'd say the training would be a lot harder than that match today.

In modern football a lot

Thats why O Neills Aston Villa always fell apart at the end of each season, he kept playing the same 11 players and come March they were finished.

What a couple of hours per day, come on it's not to damned intensive is it? If you compare football to others sports then it is astounding how unfit they are imo.

Anyway the bottom line is that I'm very happy with the win but not happy with the intensity of the second half, I expected the fringe players to try much harder than they did.

Why are some here criticising?

Are you depressives ever happy?

Good win, good goals, never looked vulnerable, should of been more.

Get a life.

Good result today, too bad the other clubs didnt screw up. Arsenal are idiots, loosing at home despite having a 2 - 0 lead at half time. They would have been frist now I think and Totenham would have had 19 points - just like us. Chelsea also screwd up, now they are level with United... hope those scum dont beat our record. So keep your fingers crossed for the Fulham - City match, hope those fools feck up so we can be only 3 or 4 points away from 4th place.
