Postby red till i die!! » Tue Dec 16, 2025 12:48 pm

Last outing before Christmas and safe to say we are carrying better form going into this. Its a bit early to know how we are for injuries after last weekend. Szobozlai currently is a doubt and early reports on Etitike and Kerkhez say it was a case of cramp. Frimpong returned to full training this week so might feature.

We need a win so im going with that  :buttrock

Spurs are going through torrid times at the moment so if we maintain discipline and a tight gameplan I'd hope we can get the 3 points.

Ekiteke up front and fill in the other positions to suit his style.

Starting to get a bit of momentum going into the new year which probably means we're getting our ar$es handed to us by Spuds. Form of the opposite teams means nothing this season, they'll dish it to us if we let them.
I'll go for a scruffy 2-2 draw if we try a bit. If we come at this lack luster and ready for a xmas of misery, then I can see Spuds turning us over 2-0.

Sorry lads, I'm struggling to be positive with Slot at the wheel

It's a good time to be playing these as they're not in great form. Neither are we but we seem to be slowly crawling out of that bad moment (hope I don't jinx it!). I'd say they have the home advantage but their home form is actually worse than their away form, so we should be beating them tbh.

I think the Salah saga brought out emotions from different players and now he’s gone I think a weight will be lifted off some of the newer players and we will get back to being the Liverpool we know albeit with a different cast. Not to say all problems will be solved but I do feel without Salah we will be more solid.

If you can’t be positive before the match then is there any point to this whole thing?

Far too slow and predictable. There's no urgency or pace. And we're playing ten men!!

Poor first half by both sides tbh. Hopefully we improve second half and use the advantage against 10 men.

Speaking of the red, looks harsh but they deem those tackles as a red nowadays, we've had them given against us too, such is the game today I guess.

Our intensity is a joke, we need to inject some urgency in our play.

Good finish by Isak and nice assist by Wirtz. Isak seems to have been injured thohgh and it doesn't look good.

Great goal, but now looks like Isak is crocked.

That looks like a bad, long term injury
