have you watched him last season? I think Konchesky's signing was justifiable.

I hope Insua matures and improve, if he doesn't then we must sell ASAP.

How old is he MH? As I said he is young so needs time to develop. And how many players do you normally find at his age that are better than him? I'm not saying he is perfect or starter material, but he is at least backup material who can develop and mature.

totally agree reg. i hope this does happen, cause i for one would welcome him back with open arms mate! i thought he was a good sqaud player, with the loan spell hopefully it will have improved his alround game.

good prospect for me is the lad & i'd pick him over konchesky at the moment, hopefully a bit of serious competition in january will kick konchesky's backside into gear- atm for me he just hasn't realised this isn't a fecking competion he's won on a web-site or somthing,he's playing for LFC & needs to show more desire, get stuck in more & not let players take him on & pass him like he wasn't there! when he shows a better attitude & fight & stop oppo players getting a cross into our box every time they take him on the better!

the left hand side of the team has been an issue for ages as we know & the return of insua will help to add strength in depth to the left back issue we clearly have atm.

Hayesy Insua was raped last season by almost every player he played against.
Konchesky hasnt started very well but is an improvement for me without a doubt.
If Fabio could stay fit he would be the no1 with Konchesky as a back up but Insua coming back doesnt add any strength in depth, just depth without the strength for me.

sorry then mate, we will have to agree to dis-agree on this one. i watched enough games to base an opinion on the fact in most of the games he played in -he had sh1t in front of him ie- rierra -who for me showed no passion or fight to help insua when he lost the ball & for me insua became a bit of a scapgoat as a result in many games for me.

also the lad is far less experienced than konchesky, but as i remember showed a better attitude alround.
like i say mate,i know he isn't the finished artical but is a good squad player & for me he would defo add strength in depth hopefully with his loan spell improving his game.

Gibbs for starters, Gareth Bale, Clichy when he was 20 he was better than Insua.

Leighton Baines was a better player than Insua when he was 20.

Don't agree on Bains, the others are top players. Would be like saying Messi, Giggs or Xavi for other positions. The point is there are not many, he has time on his side so could improve. Konchesky doesn't have time and is dogshyte.

looking forward to having Insua back? feck me, he's a championship player at best and shouldn't be anywhere near our first 11.

When will he start showing that he is better than him then ? He is far from better than him from what i have witness so far this season .

i disagree, Insua is an awful footballer who was nothing but a liability.

Ok in what way this season so far this season has he shown he is better ? He contributed nothing going forward - did you see that free kick ?!!!!- he has been found wanting defending with even pennant going past him at ease . So when and in what way has he shown he is better ?

Mate, it doesn't mean that we shouldn't have went for another left back. Insua was terrible last season, he lacks positional sense, he gets skinned almost every time, he is a liability in the air (because of his small stature) and he has no pace. He wasn't good enough, the manager saw it, alot of the fans saw it, so we went for another left back.

he doesn't go to pieces in the box, he doesn't panic with the ball, he doesn't pass the ball to the opposition, he doesn't fall over his own feet, he doesn't get knocked off the ball by every player on the park, he isn't as fast as a 1 legged man....

konchesky isn't a great player, but he's better than Insua. We've yet to see Paul play well, which is the same for most of our squad this season, but i dont want to see Insua anywhere near our first 11.
