Insua will rot in the reserves then leave on bosman in a year so he can recieve his big fat payday.

Am I the only one that thinks we should keep him? To be honest if we are stupid enough to give him a high wage then it's our fault. I would never take a pay cut myself.

Yay, at least we won't have to pay his wages even if we get nothing when he leaves in a year.

Looks like Plessis is gone too.

hopefully we'll get a loan fee (1 million or so) and that will be better than nothing.

Plessis was useless. Glad he's gone too.

how does this work? He has one year left on his contract and so he's going to Turkey for a year-long loan with an option to buy for circa £5 million...... won't he just be out of contract and Free at the end of that loan??

Logic says he has more than a year left to run on his contract.

Well, I liked the lad and I'm sorry to see him go.

We let another youngster go and replaced him with someone in his twilight years. The average age of the first team squad is now about 29?

That's a worrying trend.  I wonder if Roy is mortgaging the future a bit.  It seems so.  Letting the the kids go to Fulam for next to nothing was terrible.   :no

they weren't good enough. Why wait until their contracts run out?

Get rid and give new youth players a chance.

Insua was very suspect when put up against pace. I was convinced at first that he could be great and he still could be if he gets a decent run of games in the side.

but with the pressure Roy's under to get back into the top four then he hasn't really got time to nurture a kid whos potentially a liability. We need experience in there straight away
