People just need to stick to the subject. It's the Roy Hodgson thread, so stick the boot into Roy Hodgson if that's what floats your boat, and not into each other. I see I copped for a yiny amount as well last night in here, I'm not even going to go there. Just let it go.

Anyway once Hodgson has gone, hopefully everyone can go back to supporting the team in a normal way again.

Yes it is and you have had a go at that yourself I read your post about me when I wasnt even here I was on holiday, so dont be acting the innocent, you can give it as good as anyone.

And blaming us for Judge, Misty Red and Scottbot leaving  ??? Ill ask Scott later to see if thats another untrue statement from you.

another untrue statement?  coming from you Miss Dramaqueen that is shocking.

unlike you, i dont undermine other supporters by implying i am the better supporter because i go to matches.

unlike you, i dont take pleasure in abusing the manager.

you're as low as low can get and you're disrespectful not just to Roy but to many other posters on here with your comments so dont try to justify your wrongdoings to me woman.

Question Ciggy, do you honestly feel worse now than when we were lumbered with Hicks and Gillett? I think we are ina better position now becuase sooner or later, and I'm going with sooner, Hodgson will bebooted out and we can finally start to rebuild.

And Max you fail to see your responding by also insulting the poster which makes you just as guilty and as bad as others .

just for your info, because you cannot see the obvious, if there was no disrespect and tasteless jokes, we would have nothing to complain about, and we would all collectively agree Roy needs to leave. however, the thing that bugs us the most, is the manner in which it is being expressed, the jokes, the disrespect.

Just because there is abuse does that mean you have to respond with insults back ? Do you not understand that responding with insults just carries it on and on and the tit for tat just gets worse  ? Mutual responsibilty from all sides . As ciggy mentioned she wasn't even online a couple of weeks ago yet you had a pop at her ! is it not possible to be the bigger person and not respond with an insult and walk away ?

Max go and read the conversation between myself and Bad Bob on this thread or the respect thread where I have accepted my part in the problem . Are you incapable of doing the same thing ?

This is getting frustrating.

I agree with Benny that all this trouble stems from the lack of success on the pitch.  Only a month ago, we were unsuccessful on AND off the pitch.  The latter issue looks to be somewhat resolved now.

But the team and fans are still in crisis.  Some will blame Rafa, some will blame Roy but hopefully most blame the previous owners.  They failed to build on 3 very successful years under Rafa by not investing in the team enough or getting started on that new stadium.  They put us back to square 1 really.

We need to try our best to move on from all this now and accept that we are back to the drawing board.  Rafa, previous owners, Purslow etc all dragged each other down in the end and the final victim will be Roy.

I agree with Mick also that a new manager will hopefully unite the fans once again and we can start to look forward to the future.  FWIW, i think the club have basically wrote this season off and are concentrating on summer + new manager already.

Ok back to the debate .

I think everyone is in agreement that Roy is not the man for us .
We have two choices i reckon .

1) We go for the young up and coming prospect with a long term plan and back him to the hilt . Problem is ,is it's a big gamble and the prospect doesn't have a lot of pedigree . Do we take the chance ?

2) We go for the experienced man with a winning pedigree a a top notch track record . Problem is who and where are they and do we have the big bucks to attract them anyway .

All this bearing in mind we still have 2/3 of a season left and our next appointment will have to be spot on , or we can install kenny for the rest of the season and take out time in making sure we get the right man . Big big decisions to be made .

Or we can keep Roy and see what happens and probably kill one another and Roy in the process . That's three choices but you know what i mean .
