When Rafa was here it was just awful to finish 7th with such a great team that finished 2nd the year before.

But now all Rafa haters try to sweep it under rug by saying the team really is poor so there is nothing Roy can do really, and finishing mid table is ok since Rafa is to blame....

Cause accepting that keeping Rafa was still the best option, since there was noone out there willing to take the job,
would just not be acceptable, right?

Who has said that exactly  ??? You do have a vivid imagination you really do.

Didn't you just say that yesterday?

No Bav, I didn't. I've never said "finishing midtable is Ok really since Rafa is to blame", no. I posted up the same post yesterday three times because some of the crew couldn't or wouldn't read it, and you obviously still didn't :D.

I think the words were "no one else could do any better with these players" or something to that effect. Yet less than a year ago you were adamant we had a top 4 team at the least and the only thing missing was a manager who could motivate them.

No I think we read you loud and clear mate.

Why next weekend though? Anyway im not botherd, the media here have always acted the same. The important thing is the fans, and the fans made themselves heard loud and clear after the game yesterday and not for the first time.

The fans have JH's ear on twitter too, he has met with reps from fan groups and I imagine he will continue to maintain contact with them.

Relax, Roy isn't getting off anything, even if the papers want to turn a blind eye.  :nod

Last season it was commentated by numerous people that the squad was good enough to get us into the top 4 at least and it was the manager holding us back and the buck stopped with the manager

We lost Masher who certain people said was ok against the top teams but wasnt needed against the smaller teams and replaced him with Poulsen who people said could do the same job

We gave Aquilani away for free and brought in Mereiles for 11 million and people said that was an improvement

We gave away Insua for free and brought in Konchesky for 4 million and people said that was an improvement

We replaced the manager with someone who apparently was a better man manager and knew the prem and was seen as an improvement

So when that is taken into consideration how come all of a sudden the same people are saying squad isnt good enough

How come the results and performances are worse than last season ?

We also got the massive monkey off our back in the owners ?

So whats gone wrong then ?
Why the change ?

Why doesnt the buck no longer stop with the manager ?

Thommo said in the other topic, Roys biggest problem is him being honest, is it him being honest or just doesnt know what he's talking about most of the time?

Give me a break, the papers are so quiet when it comes to giving :censored: to a British manager. Look at that Henry Winter, the guy needs a slap an all. The only time they do that is if said manager happens to be managing England.

we dont even have the full 25 home grown players that we are meant to, yes that was due to the last manager but thats over with now, we must face the trurh that the club needs so much work done on it and its going to take time.

Squad list can only contain 25 players over the age of 21. Eight of that 25 must homegrown, but need not be over 21.

God those quotes made me cringe, literally. Is that any way for the manager of Liverpool football club to speak? It's almost as if he hasn't woken up and realized what club he is actually managing. And JH want's to give him 35mil to spend?
