Well out of that 'skwad' I saw around 8 or 9 players signed by Rafa.

Signing good players and getting them to play for you are two different things. No?
Anyway.
Lets not get into another pointless argument about the previous manager please.

Your head will explode if you don't stop it from swelling michael . A long way to go yet and plenty of oppotunity for gloating from everyone i'm sure . If this victory means that what we've seen before hand was in our imagination then you will trully deservve to gloat , unfortunately it was all real . Keep your feet firmly on the ground and lets hope we keep progressing . Onwards and upwards .
UP THE PURPS !!!

Would you all just shut it? Why does it always have to end up in this petty Roy/Rafa squabbling? You'll all be sent to your rooms with no supper if you keep it up!

Kudos and congrats to Woy today. I think he;s more than earned a victory against somebody today. I still don't think he's the answer for this club. But for today, go and enjoy the victory.

Just got back from the game .....Credit where credit is due it was a brave decision for the manager to start with Kelly and the defense was impervious ...Lucas was unbelievable Today he was breaking up play and distributing the ball with aplomb he gets better every game ...and Torres reminded all the doubters  what an unbelievable clinical striker he can be when he receives the service he requires(and to think some posters called him lazy ) ,Rodriguez has been a revelation the last few games (and to think some on this very forum doubted his ability )Lucas has been a Spartan in the middle and showed the kind of passion and pride for the shirt that is needed to play for this glorious club (and to think some posters doubted the lads ability ) anyway sorry to disappoint certain posters but the manager deserves the credit thats coming to him, and I am honest enough to deliver that, and I dont mind necking the odd helping of   humble pie   .......and if my style of post resembles another posters then it will just be the little snippets of I told you so I so gleefully included in brackets
Just to further add the Kop that bastion of well versed and knowledgeable supporters were in glorious voice ...great atmosphere my most enjoyable game at Anfield this season

:) Dear oh dear. Anyway not getting involved with you either, no point.

Even all the Chelsea lot in the pub couldn't dispute we deserved it, and despite the fact I was bricking it for the last half hour until there was 10 mins left (I thought they gave it up), we did.

A brave set up and team selection today that paid off handsomely.  Like the players, Roy seems to be growing in confidence and is slowly getting to grips with what's required.  Most exciting is the fact that we are now playing with more energy, pressing from the first whistle again and playing a higher line.  We still tend to drop too deep as the game wears on but at least we've had leads to defend when we've done so of late.  I also like his bravery in throwing in the kids.  Kelly from the start looks an inspired decision today and fair play for bringing Shelvey and Spearing on during such a big match.  Slow but sure signs of encouragement but there's still a ways to go.
