thats skertel, buddy.
but i agreed that he looks shaky, damn shaky n was responsible for blackburn's equalizer.

Was it!?! Oops I take it back. I was having problems all game working out who was bloody who! We're turning into Garibaldi FC! We've got Konchesky, Skrtel, Mereilles and Shelvey!

he is starting to win me over honestly. can we safely say buying a leftback is NOT a priority this season?

He was very solid today, and one or two of his pings into the front men were excellent. I shouldn't think he'll win many of those over who've absolutely slauightered him from day one, but he is a good full back who is beginning to grow into his job.

He was over-awed and thrown in at the deep end. I had my doubts but he seems to be improving every game

I think the point that gets lost with most of Konchesky's detractors is that he was brought in to be the 2nd choice LB behind Aurellio (remember him?).

Konchesky did have a very solid day at the office today.  He along with Lucas were excellent in the second half in breaking up a Chelsea attack, which if I'm honest, had be sheitting myself for a good bit of time.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Had a crucial block today as well as some tidy play going forward.  Like the rest of the side, he's growing in form as confidence returns.  Keep it up.

Decent game pretty much solid ...but then the whole of the defense was working as a unit and working for each other ,and this  showed in Koncheskys forays  forward and his overall play ....his best game in Red for me

without a doubt his best game for us so far. one thing i can't fault the guy on is his work rate, he must have had some bet on with kuyt about who's going to run the furthest this season.

I thought he did well, as Red says the whole of the defence did. That said, it was a different proposition in the second half, THEY were a different proposition in the second half when Drogba was on. We definately got a bit of a result that him and Essien weren't fit.

Still think we definatly need a very good left back - Konchesky would be a very good back up to come in - work very hard yesterday but still seems to drift out of position and leave a massive gap on the left - it seemed Chelsea targetted Kelly as the weak spot in the backline - they would of had more joy down our left .

It was always Gerrard followed by Carra with Torres right behind leading the lad out the race, which Nando said was a superstition of his. So why has Konchesky snuck in ahead of him?
