You know Mick, when i seen we were going to get him i thought the same also. But, i really believe this his Hodgson's Morientes!

He's just past it and not able to adapt. Far too immobile now.  But here's praying

There's certainly a good chance he'll be Roys Morientes, the signs aren't good so far. That said, any fool can see that he is a good player (as they could with Morientes) so at least he has a chance.

Maxi Rodriguez looked like a Morientes until a couple of weeks back and he's suddenly seemed to get it (fair play to the manager for continuing to play him despite some pretty awful performances too) so we live in hope.

he doesnt look like the same player that tormented Kaka years back. sad to say, he will just be a squad player and based on current performances, shouldnt be a first teamer. worse bit about this is that its highly improbable we would salvage most of what we paid for him.

This guy is garbage.  Absolute garbage.

His passing is awful, he's not very mobile, and frankly he's not even that good at shielding the defence.  Lucas is a better player than him by some distance, that says it all I'm afraid.

.
Awful display, from the start, seemed to be struggling to keep up with play.

Apart from the Obvious stevies goals , Poulson coming off got cheered to the rafters,

Take the shirt off him , not good enough simple. Terrible terible buy , when you think he couldnt even get a game at Juventus sometimes not even on the bench and we buy. him, I wouldnt compare him to a morientes signing either, Morientes was doing a great job still in spain and for the National team, when we bought him,Poulson wasnt and isnt, he has even been questioned by his own counrtymen is he in the right sport,
HE WHO BETRAYS WILL ALWAYS WALK ALONE

I actually think that wasn't his worst display I have seen  ...he certainly kept the ball better than Spearing ,and the ball for Ngog was the best thing he has done in a red shirt ...it was nothing short of perceptive ...but one brilliant pass isn't going to alter the fact he is struggling badly but it does show he has a football brain .... but sadly not the legs

I know. The behaviour of some of our fans continues to disappoint greatly. No longer can we claim to better, no more can we sit on the high horse. Terrible shame but there it is  :( .
