We can only hope so, as it's clear he is unwanted by Klopp.
Shame really, because he can score goals, but has not speed and doesn't put in a shift.
25M is a substantial offer. Take the money and run...

The Echo are saying we have knocked back the 25 million and holding out for closer to 30 million

There will be big slices for Standard Liege and Villa as well as our own piece, £25m means we are £10m down already then split 3 ways.

I'd take 23 million on the condition they take Balotelli  :D

Really hoped the guy would make it here but he just doesn't suit our style of play. Like I said even before we signed him, good player just not for us. Crystal Palace have offered good money, we should definitely take it. Hope Benteke himself won't make problems and refuse to leave.

One dimensional striker who has been well and truly found to be out of his depth at LFC. Would be amazing to get our money back for him.

He's gone. £27 million up front rising to £32 million with add ons.

Sky Sports

Crystal Palace have agreed a £32m fee with Liverpool for Christian Benteke, according to Sky sources.
Palace have agreed to make Benteke the most expensive signing in their history, and the striker will now have a medical and talk terms in London.
Liverpool paid Aston Villa £32.5m for Benteke a year ago and have been holding out for a similar fee despite the player falling out of favour under Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds manager said earlier this month "it makes sense" for Benteke to move on, and it is understood Palace are prepared to pay an initial £27m plus £5m in add-ons.
Alan Pardew is short of forward players after the departures of Emmanuel Adebayor, Dwight Gayle and Marouane Chamakh, and the Palace boss has money to spend after selling Yannick Bolasie to Everton for £28m.

Good luck to him, shame it didn't work out here but that's football I guess.

Brilliant to get our money back for him, given how out of odds he was with our play.

Many said he was Andy Carroll Mk2 last summer and they have all been proven right. For the life of me, I'll NEVER understand why Rodger's sold Carroll and brought in Benteke. We never played to either players' strengths and both flopped badly for huge transfers.

Well done to the club for getting our cash back on this one.

CP style of play will suit Christian. I'm amazed that another club were so determined to get him. Unfortunately Big Ben has shown during his time at Liverpool that he is extremely limited. A club however that plays to his strengths may well reap the rewards.

Excellent news that we have got rid of all the deadwood minus Balotelli.

This means from a net spend point of view, we have actually made money now from transfers.

Time to get on our bike and bring in a LB pronto tonto.

Also wouldn't mind seeing another ST come in, but Origi, Sturridge, Ings should be suffice as long as they stay injury free.
