It sounds like any dig at Roy is fun for a certain group though. A cetani group who have Rafa in sigs and those piocture things in the bottom. I would have thought Liverpool fans should be more about Liverpool, not spending all the time in Inter threads/Rafa threads, rafa sigs, rafa pictures... hes gone

Yeah Roy said something wrong. Get over it. 2 wins in a row, a win away from home. And hes starting to talk better, its all new to him. And who knows what Rafas relationshiop was with Kenny? No one. Yeah Kenny smoothed the waters today but thats his job.

We should get back to supporting Liverpool, letting go, and being critical is fine, but lets not resort to name calling on the man in charge of our beloved club

it's a disgrace in my view. Some try and justify their childish outbursts by saying “Rafa got this abuse, now it’s Roy’s turn”

If that’s the case, can someone please show me the threads where people posted pictures of Rafa as a fat Spanish waiter…

and also show the threads were people called him Waffer in every single thread.

Roy wasn’t anyone’s first choice, but he’s here and he's our manager and the guy deserves some respect. Fine, if you don’t think he’s good enough, by all means say it and point out his faults, but stop with the personal attacks. All it does is show you to be classless and crass.

yeah... 35 years of experience and consider himself one of the best managers in england and it's all feckin new to him... :laugh:

I think the mistake people make when they talk of posters being "Roy lovers" and "jumping in to defend him" is that they don't realise it is the institution of the Liverpool manager which many are defending, NOT the man himself. Had people posted up pictures of Rafa and had they took the p!ss out of the way he speaks, or had they abused him and belittled him, I would have been joining with those who would have jumped down their throats. Why? Well not because I loved him as our manager, but simply because he was the manager of Liverpool football club and as such deserved respect.

Roy is the same.

Listen people are not justifying the abuse Roy gets by pointing out the abuse Rafa gets. People are merely pointing out there are those who are accusing people of being disrespectful now were disrespectful on Rafa themselves before...

It'll be better if everyone, who hasn't got it yet, invest in some sense of humour... I've already said Roy looks like my late grandfather and if Roy looks like an owl, my late grandfather looked like an owl. Anyway why is calling Roy an owl so derogatory? (BTW I didnt' start it) An owl is a symbol of wisdom last time I checked. It'll be better if everyone stop being so sensitive, or act like being outraged just because they want to criticize the other party.

All's most people are saying is, there is no need for the insults.

Honest to god reading some of your posts lately makes me cringe, they are childish.
I have a sense of humour but its like watching a kid being bullied in a playground reading this thread at times.
Its not nice at all.

Daws but why should he even feel the need to comment on what our previous manager did, he shouldnt need to comment on anything about what went on before he was here , just focus on what is happening now, He lite the firework mate by saying publicly that Kenny was frozen out and he was bringing him back in and other remarks by himself, the press never made them comments up he said them, and thats as i said is what is annoying me, Comments that he is making ,not what papers are saying, No one should have to come out and smooth things over because he shouldnt be giving ammunition to the press in the first place

And regarding the Rafa /milan thread id guarentee that the ones who wanted rid of Rafa are the ones who are making most of the posts in there , could be wrong like, .

yeah? well I'm sick and tired of you, dawson, Thommo, metalhead, maypax, Big Niall, Big Mick, etc etc act all self-righteous when you yourselves were guilty of the same amount of disrespect to the previous manager. The hypocricy that I'm witnessing at the moment is just incredible...

I've said this time and time again...

1. I've never called Roy an Owl (However, I find the twee twoo twee twoo funny which is well withing my rights)
2. I've never called Roy, "Woy"
3. I've never insulted Roy in anyway
4. I've criticised his tactics which is well within my rights
5. I'm well p1ssed off that he put us in the relegation zone which is well within my rights
6. I've criticised two times regarding his numerous ill-advised sound bites which is well within my rights
7. I think he doesn't deserve to be LFC manager and deserves to be sacked which is well within my rights

I'll ask you something who came out and insulted other posters first calling numpties and a dozen other insults, throwing his little tantrum when there was nothing insulting about the way we criticised Roys latest comments? So don't feckin tell me I'm childish because the ones who are acting childish first are you and your lot...

Go and read the match thread I celebrated like any other LFC fan when we won against Blackburn and Bolton... so don't be a self-righteous :censored:
