I was and still am one of the biggest pro rafa  supporters on here (i'd have him back tomorrow) but i'm an LFC supporter first and formost and guess what , i back the manager and the team at the game . For 3 f.uckin years i've been fighting for my club along side some of the people i'm having a go at in this post . Why the feck are you whipping yourself up into a frenzy over some alledged quotes ffs ? When did you start believing the feckin press ? Why and how did you become so disrespectul to a manager of Liverpool ? Loads of you are old enough to know how it works , you show your discontent with silence ffs or by not going the game  or in the ale'ouse. Remember the attendences  under souness and under houllier near the end . THE HOLY TRINITY FFS anyone remember that one . I want him gone and i want him gone now , but will i feck lower myself to disrespect the man or his position as manager .

Newcastle fan on sky the other year . Alladyce doesnt pay for my tickets i do , so i can boo him all i want , it's my right .

Now take a look at what has been said on here and tell me your any different . I'm gutted at our fans behavour over this i seriously am . I decided to not go the games after the Arsenal game this year , and youse lot have made me feel so much better about my decision . Your being driven by the media nad the rumour mungers just as much as the rafa out crowd were ,so your know different . NO CLASS ,NO DIGNITY , NO SUPPORTERS . Think on !!!

The press fucking love him to bits Lad (English manager don't you know )..so I wouldnt exactly say anyone was siding with them ,so your argument falls down there a touch .... the man is food and drink for the  Fleet Street hacks ,,,and its not just what we read its the fucking interviews he conducts ie the videos .... if its at all possible could he refrain from dragging the name of our club through the mud ,you know just stick to winning games and then maybe we wouldn't need the influx of posters telling us how to behave .....
I have supported this team man and boy through thick and thin and I will continue to do so ,but never have I seen a manager albeit from Souness who was less worthy of our respect ..... and his actions and ridiculous barbs certainly go a long way towards proving my feelings to be bang on the money ........... sorry Igor Lad I respect your opinion but your wide of the mark this time mate

shall i tell you a funny story. We had this guy at work and he suggested a syndicate for the lottery there was five of us anyhow we each picked our numbers and used to pay him a pound a week. We just kept the same numbers after a while people left and we just ended up binning it. About 6 months later the guy who started the syndicate won 108'000 pounds 5 balls and the bonus. He had kept the 5 lines we gave and did it for himself. Guess which line won him the money. My fecker  :(

I'm pretty sure Joe Cole is still at Chelsea (injured) and we have an imposter playing for us.  :D

The difference is, and it is a key difference, is how it is reacted on. Rafa Benitez gave more than his fair share of dubious responses, and yet nothing is mentioned of them, or when they are brought up, its dismissed.

Take the Alonso affair, to Mascherano, Rafa could not make it any clearer that he wanted him to stay, he stated so on the official site, he wanted Masch to stay at the club. Alonso however got something very different, "The fans want him to stay, so maybe he should". Very different statements, resulting in us losing our best midfielder. Why? because Rafa thought best.

Then take the excuses after poor result after poor result, always "we look to the next game".

On Aquilani, and his injuries, he more or less stated he is a hypochondriac !

And all this swept under the carpet, all this and so much more is forgotten, why? 'cos he is one of us ! and why is that? he had 6 years to become so.

Roy has not even had a year and yet there is no leeway, there is no defense, only jibes. Only insults.

Its hypocrisy, on a grand scale. Whatever happens, whether or not Roy remains at the club, the way I look it, if I ever hear anyone mutter "Liverpool fans are the most knowledgeable, patient, loyal and generally the best" I will have no choice but to argue "no, they used to be".

Roy has failed to see a lot of things regarding team selection. Why? I have no idea.

Could it be because, during training sessions they show off the skills they have to offer but come match day, they bottle it?

How many times have we heard about "during training..." and yet during a match, players just go missing.

Lets face facts here, a lot of our players, when they are up against a player that is not giving them any freedom during a match, tend to give up trying and just ride out the match.

Take Torres yesterday. At the beginning he was up for it, chasing every ball, then he just gave up. A couple of times he could have got the ball, but he just strolled instead and gave up. This is an attitude with a large number of our players, during the match, if it is not going there way, they just think "sod it".

Believe it or not, that is simply down to the person managing the team not having them believe in themselves. This isn't true of just football, if you lack a leader at the helm - the masses will disperse.

The players are good enough to win a fair share of games on their own and we will see the team doing just that, but not enough to have us consistently place in the CL every season.

There is no point blaming anyone past or present, Roy is a good manager for most EPL sides - we just need someone who has won at the highest club level consistently.

Unfortunately, there aren't that many managers around who fit that bill.

The Torres that we saw ( last few matches ) is the same Torres ( he is the same player last season ), means that he is the same person but under different boss ... it also means that different boss have a different Style of playing ...

He played so well under Rafa, he also played well for Spain and Atlético Madrid but he struggle under Roy's Style of Football .... and Torres is NOT the only one ... Look at SG, Look at Joe Cole, Look at DK ...and there's many more ..

No and no.

His first season he did. Since then he has been constantly injured. Also, during the world cup, he had a stinker, and Rafa was still here at Liverpool.

Your arguments fall flat im afraid. If you blame Roy for the attitudes of the players then you absolutely have to look at Rafa also. Ignorance is not allowed.

Rafa is gone, Roy is here - the players are not fully responding. Either he gets his act together, or he's gone and we look for someone who can make players believe in themselves.

The only one here that needs to prove himself is Roy and that he is capable of bringing #19 to liverpool.

Rafa isn't here because, despite all of the success and added revenue from the CL, he couldn't get us #19, despite going very close.

Roy will be judged on the same basis.
