I know that san , but the critisism is getting ridiculous isn't it . We've just come out of a 3 year battle san and i'm tired of fighting mate . All i want now is to go the match and have a laugh again . I do not wanting to be going the game and battleing all over again about the manager this time . I'm sticking to the watching in the pub or the house from now on mate , i've had enough of supporters infighting i honestly have . I want a simple life now mate , tis all . All the abuse roy is getting is not us mate is it , be honest.

As you say mate some of us fought for three years and yep it was tiring an emotional, but the problem is now is that some of us dont like or think Roy is good enough or will do any good and because of that , we get accused of still being up Rafas ar,se and put into little groups, thats why i feel im still fighting mate ,its the same ones who jumped all over Rafa who are now jumping over anyone who dares say a word against Roy, we know hes not good enough ,they also know hes not good enough but wont just come out and admit it , instead they dive in on anything that is said concerning Roy and try and make others look fuc.king stupid. ive got my opinion and ill say it on here without being put into a possie or im still . oh do you know what its not worth it arguing on hereanymore , i cant be botherd now

no one jumped on Rafa like people have on Roy Nan... thats the difference, this has been brutal and just not right.

It's one thing to say a manager isnt doing well, its a whole other story the ipctures that have been put up, everyone laughing, mods ignoring... thats the point.

And having quite a few psoters only showing up after the bad, staying away after the good, its just...meh.

I was and still am one of the biggest pro rafa  supporters on here (i'd have him back tomorrow) but i'm an LFC supporter first and formost and guess what , i back the manager and the team at the game . For 3 f.uckin years i've been fighting for my club along side some of the people i'm having a go at in this post . Why the feck are you whipping yourself up into a frenzy over some alledged quotes ffs ? When did you start believing the feckin press ? Why and how did you become so disrespectul to a manager of Liverpool ? Loads of you are old enough to know how it works , you show your discontent with silence ffs or by not going the game  or in the ale'ouse. Remember the attendences  under souness and under houllier near the end . THE HOLY TRINITY FFS anyone remember that one . I want him gone and i want him gone now , but will i feck lower myself to disrespect the man or his position as manager .

Newcastle fan on sky the other year . Alladyce doesnt pay for my tickets i do , so i can boo him all i want , it's my right .

Now take a look at what has been said on here and tell me your any different . I'm gutted at our fans behavour over this i seriously am . I decided to not go the games after the Arsenal game this year , and youse lot have made me feel so much better about my decision . Your being driven by the media nad the rumour mungers just as much as the rafa out crowd were ,so your know different . NO CLASS ,NO DIGNITY , NO SUPPORTERS . Think on !!!

Thats a really good post that mate.

I am also resigned to the fact that the manager we have isnt upto it.
I am not pro Rafa and did want a change but didnt have to insult him when we struggled.
I wanted a change because the time was right i think.
We have cleared picked the wrong man for the job but at the end of the day he is our manager and while he is here we might as well try and support him.
Its not the same as after 5 or 6 seasons wanting a change of manager.
For me Roy hasnt been given the support he should have as he wasnt wanted in the first place.
The Newcastle comparison is a good one.
I read a post from Nanny (sorry to single you out) the other week in the owners thread i think asking if the owners were going to listen to the fans like they said, why is Roy still here ?
That's just not right, we are fans, we shouldnt be thinking we make the decisions on how the club is run.
The insults at Roy and the constant jumping on anything he says are disgraceful and embarrasing to read.

Mick has been saying it for a while but we do need to change the manager just so everyone can get behind him again and bring us fans back together.
This divide is helping nobody.
We can have an opinion on whether Rafa was a good manager and should be here still. That's fine but at the end of the day he isnt now and we ALL need to remember that and try and move on.

It should hopefully be a new and exciting time for the club now the finances are stable.

While I find disrespect that current manager has been subjected to on this forumto be rather shameful, I have to disagree with that comment Dawson.

Rafa copped it, just in a different way and that was without ever ending up in the relegation zone either

You complain about this forum going to the dogs but it was divided long before rubbishing of Roy

Im not even sure a winning streak or a change of manager would change some of pettiness that inhabits this place now

me think you do protest too much, im not talking about you... the mods tho, last season were banning and cardnig left right and centre, rightly so, for having a go at the manager.. this seasno.. nothing.

It doesnthelp that only woof and bob are ever here. Sub and st mike here a bit, but it needs saying nan.

its not grassing, its asking for equal footing.

I had a couple of hours free from work this afternoon. I came home, made a nice cup of tea and a butty and settled down to spend about an hour or so on here. I didn't comment much. I just trawled through threads looking if I could find any support for Mr Hodgson. I couldn't. But I couldn't even eat me butty looking at some of what I was reading.

I can't sleep tonight and I've got to go to work in a few minutes. But this time, instead of just looking for the spew bucket, I have to say something ....
Anything that can put me off me scran and kip has got to be bad.
And this witch hunt really is becoming truly sickening.

Roy has to go. I'm convinced of that. But let's have it right.... he needs to go because he just isn't good enough. He's not the man to take us forward and return us to challenging for trophies and titles. That alone, for me, is why he should go.

Yes. I know about the terrible statements, the disatrous buying and selling, and the damaging changes in the background, scouting, training and that. And like many others, I'm also afraid if he doesn't go quick he could do irreperable damage.

But I'm just as frightened, and saddened, that the mob mentality that has grown out of all this, is going to be the lasting legacy of not just Roy but the last couple of seasons.

In fact, the lynch mob mentality can't be blamed on Roy. It can't even be blamed on Cecil or H&G. It's down to us, no one else.

Funny enough, it really reared it's head in what should have been the best of times...
2 :censored: decades with barely a sniff of the title, and what did we do...
booed our own players onto the pitch, booed while they was on it, and even cheered them sarcastically when they was subbed off. We even booed at results that took us to the top of the table. (It wasn't just the West Ham game). We helped to force out the most successful and best manager we've had in decades. We turned on him when he needed us most. We turned on him while he fought tooth and claw for us. We helped install the manager we've got. We got what we deserved.

No doubt, people will bollack me for hypocrisy because I want Roy out meself. And people will bollack me, and no doubt think... Who the :censored: does that fat kunt think he is.
I don't care.
I'm not trying to be some sort of moral guardian of the Liverpool Way. And I'm not daft enough to think anything I'm about to say will make any difference to how things are going, but it needs to be said....
The only permanent thing at the club is us, the supporters. Like H&G, Broughton, Purslow and Rafa, Roy will be gone one day, preferably the sooner the better. But is this witch hunting mob mentality now so ingrained that it will be the lasting legacy of the last few seasons?

Rafa's backers used to dive all over his detractors whenever they used media driven bilge to attack him. I was one of the worst for it. I'd accuse people of being Sky Washed even when they had some substance to their own opinion on Rafa.

Now, it seems we are pretty much all willing - bar a noteable few - to dive on anything we can use to attack Roy.

The flak Roy's kopping for a statement made by the Daily Mirror just proved the final straw for me. Yes, Roy might have uttered some words. He might have even uttered them to the Daily Mirror. Who knows. But make no mistake, the statement is made by no one but the Daily Mirror.

The statement...
"I was disappointed Dalglish went for the manager's job."

Roy's actual qoute that it was taken from....
"You cannot find a better person for that than Kenny Dalglish. I told him I was disappointed he went for the manager's job because for me he should be working for Liverpool on a permanent basis, long after I leave for years to come assisting all future Liverpool managers."

Nah. Using shitty tabloids to take a pop at an LFC manager. No. Not having it.

There's plenty of reasons to want Roy out. There was even more reasons to never want him in - one being we had a fantastic manager who, for some reason beyond me at the moment, absolutely loved us and went to war for us on nearly a constant basis. Some people done their best to explain this and why getting shot of Rafa would be madness. It didn't matter. No matter what warnings were made, the Rafa out mob wanted a lynching and so they ploughed on regardless of any consequences.

Some wanted blood so bad, they grasped every and any rumour, even downright lie, issued by the media.

It wasn't right then. It's not right now. It says more about us as a support base than it does about Roy or Rafa, and it's another sad sign of the times and how far our once great support has fallen. And as I said, I'm not stupid enough to think anything I say here while change anything, but it needs to be said for one huge reason....
if this rot isn't halted it's probably going to be impossible to ever get back on our perch.

That will get laughed at, but I mean it...
What chance will any manager have of returning us to the top if we are so eager to stab them in the back that we use the gutter press as the ammo?

Give me Andy Allerton's drunken " :censored: Off Roy," honesty over any of the gutter presses lies and spin. Even give me lads like Chopper and Xerxes defending Roy over that melarkey. But make no mistake, I want Roy to :censored: off and :censored: off sharpish, but I'm not having the British media slyly telling me why he should. If that isn't cut out we are truly doomed.

Quality post.
I know its a few pages back, I`m catching up and I thought it was worthy of me putting it back on the current page incase anyone missed it.
Thats exactly how I feel mate, nice to know I`m not the only one. :)

Listen if I don't think the manager is up to the job ....I will say so and I couldnt give a flying fuck which poster I upset ,the simplest way to stop the denigration of the current incumbent would be for one of the players to have a word about the way he conducts himself in media interviews .... because he does damage to the club every time he opens his grid ....... Oh and a big welcome back to Daws and his travelling Tourettes

Rafa didnt sign Jovanovic, the club could have pulled out of the deal if they wanted, in fact the lad thought they had.
Neither was it rafas decision to pay him 70k a week or for that matter carra 95k.
But why let facts get in the way.

I would never insult the man Ben ,but he continues to insult the fans and the lineage of the managers of this great club who have acted with the grace befitting of a Liverpool manager
I think most would ....or should agree the lack of tact he shows in interviews needs seriously addressing mate ...and then maybe the fans might show him a tad more patience

I have had the same view as a lot of posters on this site. The uncertainty of the future of our club at the helm of Roy Hodgson. Without a shadow of doubt, half the team have been running round like headless chickens for most of this season but we are seeing signs of improvement. I think the Lucas/Meireles partnership with Cole And Maxi as the outlets appears to be taking shape. Torres is looking far from sharp but we know it shouldn't be too long before that is corrected. The boy is class. Gerrard, like Torres, has been as equally ineffective. The defence has looked decidedly shaky all season but at least we didn't concede today (though I felt we were fortunate on a couple of occasions). I've always felt that Roy deseves a decent shot and January is when we should be making any decisions at all. Danny Murphy says it took Fulham 10 games before they began playing the Roy way and thats just about were we are. Just :censored: loved todays result  :D  Get in there!
