The Youth Team yeah, under Rafa won the Youth Cup Two times out of three, the Reserves won the Reserve Trophey for the whole of the league, under Rafa's tenure as well, yeah you have to say with thier record they too are totally :censored:

Well in response to this, and it's very simple LFC!, pass and move, even in our heyday, we didn't have the best players in every position, but we played with belief, with vigour, pace, passion and control, we dominated team's, we had a belief we couldn't be beaten, we had a verve, a swagger, confidence, and probably more than anything, a determination not to be beaten!, these where the fundamental things Shankly built that we're then carried on.

So why is Rafa hailed as a god and Roy is just simply awful?

So Roy being appointed hastened it, but he would still have left even if we had appointed Mourinho? I cant help but feel the "its all Roys fault" vibe here.

They are all richer than Liverpool and have a wealth of other talent to call upon.

maybe if that gentleman had his facts right, he would've realize Chelsea had more players during the WC:

John Terry, Frank Lampard, Joe Cole, Ashley Cole, Nicolas Anelka, Florent Malouda, Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou, Deco, Ricardo Carvalho, Paulo Ferreira, Branislav Ivanovic, Miroslav Stoch. John Mikel Obi would've been there as well if not for injury.

you might take note of Arsenal's contribution while you're at it:
Alex Song, Nicklas Bendtner, Gael Clichy, Abou Diaby, William Gallas, Bacary Sagna, Emmanuel Eboue, Carlos Vela, Robin van Persie, Cesc Fabregas, Philippe Senderos.

not forgetting how Walcott and Nasri were questionably omitted from their respective teams.

so i hope that can put to bed the...very mediocre argument about how we had so many players at the WC as it means NOTHING.

and speaking of mediocre, why is it posters are discussing the need for reinforcements in at least 4 areas if our squad was that great as you're implying? we have 3 star players who are vital to the team and there are Reina, Gerrard and Torres.

Well the majority arent backing him, i do not think he should still be here.
What my point is, is that the sh!t he is getting about how he looks and talks is embarrasing.
what he has been saying in the press conferences recently has been stupid - no doubt.
But why is everyone being so personal ?

I am honestly cringing reading loads of peoples posts on here.
People like nan and ciggy that i think are sound are posting sh!te and acting like kids.

We know most didnt want Roy but why not just let the owners decide when they call time on things ?
Do we now make all of the decisions regarding our club ?
