I'm not joining that posse. You have to have two fingers chopped off to get in by the looks of things.

That explains all the terrible typing so...

I felt like slinging a cup of coffee at the TV at him after the derby match. He's got no f*cking balls, and that's the thing that annoys me the most. He capitulated to the media over Fergie bashing Torres. Never opened his gob, then he capitulated again when asked would he sell Torres to United. Instead of backing the player and either just kept his gob shut or just said something sarcastic and clever, he says something totally f*cking daft as if he doesn't want to offend his whiskey drinking mate. People can talk all the sh*t they want about Benitez, but the thing Rafa had that Roy doesn't is a spine. He didn't care about p*ssing the press off if it meant defending this club, his players, and especially the supporters. He was one of us, and he just got it. Roy hasn't a f*cking clue what this club and what it's fans are about. He deserves all the abuse he's getting IMO.

I admit that Hodgson is not "getting it" and has said some questionable things. As Ive said he should have been tutored in the way it works here.
But do us a Fu*king favour mate and dont go on about Benitez and his statements. I wanted to throw the couch at the telly never mind a cup of coffee. Some of the cringey, embarrassing, wierd sh'ite he used to come out with made me feel ashamed that he was our manager. All hands were taking the pi'ss out of us because of his rants.

The main problem that many of us have is the total disrespect that Roy has endured. I don't think any of us wanted us to be in the position we were / are. When Roy was employed, we were in a bad position. We are starting a new season on the back of a horrendous one and from day one he wasn't given a chance.

That disrespect has grown and grown to the point where it is absolutely ludicrous. Whatever the man says, it will be broken down for the negatives. Whatever the man does it will be broken down for the negatives.

And this is not by the press, or mancs, or plastic fans from chelsea, but by our very own. This club had a reputation for having the best supporters in the world. And yet Roy from a good few long term supporters hasnt had a jot of support, not an inkling.

So, to quote your post:

When we fail and fail BADLY maybe some of you will say we we're right in wanting to get rid of him in October!

No, I will say congratulations, your lack of support for a man new to the club, faced with impossible limitations, faced with trying to get the club back on its feet, he has achieved your wish. He has failed. Of course every new manager wants to hear chants in the crowd for the previous manager on his first game in charge. And of course from then on having every word, every action twisted to make him look like the bad guy. I expect these kind of reactions from the gutter press, not our own supporters.

For the rest of you, (I'm out of here cos it's like talking to a Brick Wall) you want failure, you've got it!

Can you not note your own irony here?

Read this that i posted earlier in the thread, then come back to me on why he should be kept; I'm p1ssed with this, so come on tell me why genious!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This thread boggles my mind;

Anti Rafa-Pro Rafa, It's All Rafa's fault, no, it's Stevie G & Carra's, not it's the Posse!

A few of us now being called the "Posse" are being vilified for what the rest of you can see but are not willing to either accept as fact or are willing to brush under the carpet.

Roy Hodgson is NOT THE ANSWER!

We haven't got a Pattern of Play, We play too deep, We invite the opposition forward to attack us, We have no belief anymore in our own ability, We have a mindset of mediocrity that stems from the Manager and his tactics, We only start playing when we're 2-0 down.

We have a Manager who, at present, is only too willing to accept defeat or a mediocre 0-0 performance..... because he's never Managed a Club and a set of Fan's with a "Winning Mentallity", we the Fans have even been decried for this, that our expectation's are too High, I openly disagree, my expectations aren't to high for Christ's sake, maybe the Managers are too Low!

People can spout he's managed big Club's, Inter twice, but he got Sacked Twice! He Managed Blackburn Rovers with most of thier Premiership Winning squad, to where we are in the League now! Bottom Three!

We have had the worst start to a season in living memory, We have not played attractive football, let alone Football, it's boring and above all else predictable, every game we have played we seem to fear the opposition far too much, and when we do get beat, according to Roy, it's as if we've played World Beating Opposition in every Game, Blackpool, and Northampton spring to mind, there's two World Beating Football Team's if ever there was.

Don't mind being called names, dont mind being pigeonholed as a member of the "Posse", don't mind being vilified for going against "The Liverpool Way" cause i know we're right.

What i do mind is sticking with Roy Hodgson until it's too late, Too late for someone else to pick up the pieces of a shattered season, too late for someone to turn it around and at least get us European Qualification for next Season, too late until our best players turn around and say "We want a Transfer"!

If you truly believe in Roy, i pity you, your'e clinging on to a dream that doesn't exist, if you're clinging on to "The Liverpool Way", it's time too move on and accept that this Manager hasn't got what it takes.

We need Champions League, Roy wouldn't deliver this even if he was playing PS3 from now until the end of time!

It was a bad move appointing him, i thought that from day one, little did i know my prediction would be so bad for LFC in such a short time.

So Yes i'm a member of the "Posse", I want him out Yesterday, Why, because he just isn't good enough to Manage LFC.

I've read a good few pages of the posted 250+ on this thread, I know where i stand and i know why, no-one yet who wants him to stay has offered up anything concrete on why he should............Good Luck on that one!

We controlled the game, we created chances...we now look to the next game ( after we lost ).

That was a popular one.

Yeah Benitez said some strange stuff during his time here, but he had the balls to stand up to Ferguson and his corrupt FA when no one else did.  That for me is what made him a true Liverpool manager, unlike this impostor that we have right now.

And what good did it do him and us?
The timing was Fu*king terrible and ended up backfiring on him and then the team.
He would have been better keeping his trap shut and concenrated on winning games
