I know this sounds small minded and petty but I still cant stop laughing at the "twit tohoo" comments.

Hmmm, I have to admit I got a bit of a chuckle out of the "owly" stuff too. But it is getting tiresome now. Just like the "Fat Spanish Waiter" jibe was funny at first, but became lame as well.

What's truly appalling about this whole thing though, is the pathetic double standard employed by some on here, who spouted all sorts of fake indignation at Rafa's FSW jibe, but have no problem with slagging the lisps and looks of the new guy.

Is it me or is it truly depressing to think about the prospect that we might have Roy for quite some time...

No, it's not just you, mate. The day Hodgson gets the boot is the day I celebrate properly, since even though the Yank are gone, there's still massive problems at the club, and Roy is up there with the worst.

How about "ball-less b@stard'? Does that work? Works for me.

copy pasting my post on rawk

----------

Saw in another thread somewhere about Roy only winning 7 away games in the last 3 years in Football ... so I did some googling

2007 - 2008: 3 EPL wins - vs Reading, Man City[NOTE before they got rich] and Portsmouth)

2008 - 2009: 2 FA cup wins - vs Shieffield Wednesday and Kettering
2008 - 2009: 3 EPL wins vs - vs Bolton, Man City, Newcastle

2009 - 2010: 1 EPL win - vs Portsmouth
2009 - 2010: 2 Europa League wins - vs Basel and Wolfsburg
2009 - 2010: 1 FA Cup win - vs Accrington Stanley

So wiki says Hodgson was in charge of 121 Fulham matches at the helm, let's say 50% of those games are away from home?

12 wins away from home in 60 matches ... none of which are team worth writing home about (maybe pompey in 07-08 but that's stretching it)?

It's pretty simple, get Kenny in as caretaker manager until we get someone more permanent. And if Kenny does well, and he wants to carry on, let him carry on. I'm 100% sure we won't be in the same predicament if Kenny was in charge.

I'll tell you, if we draw the next game, roy's support will shrink from 5% to 4%. if we lose the next game roy's support will be 1% who is deluded.

l]Woy's Blunder[/url]

It was bound to come eventually.

Tell you what, no blaming Rafa for this. This ones all on Woy.

Bav - it is absolute nonsense - in the same way that Ferguson never got very much of the Ronaldo money he won't get very much of the Rooney money either.A lot of the money will be used to ease their growing debt. United are in financial turmoil as I have stated many times over the last two years. I even posted the accounts which most people either ignored or didn't understand. I seem to remember that even  you defended their business model along with the likes of Lakes suggesting that they were in a much stronger position financially than Liverpool and that they could easily afford to cover the interest repayments without it affecting the strength of the team.

United are on the same downward spiral that Liverpool experienced and if they continue in the same way who knows this time next year Hodgson could be their manager! Let's face it he's managed every other team in Europe! Well nearly!

Thommo I really do think that from an honourable starting point of wanting to support a struggling manager, you have descended to a bitter place that is reflected in pointless posts made to anyone who critcises Roy.

Nobody in their right mind would want him to carry on after the :censored: performances & tactics, ridiculous comments to press and failure to stand up for our club.

Just get over it pal and let's all get behind the next guy eh.

How many matches should we give the next manager? two? three? I ask because the criticism of RH started before a ball was kicked and some mindless idiots were calling for him to be sacked after four or five matches. Some so-called fans even relished in his failure and glibly said "I told you so" !!!

RH is clearly not the long term answer and I have never suggested that he is. I am however prepared to give him more time to prove that he is not a complete disaster.

Last night once again RH get's a lot of criticism even though he managed to get a draw away from home with our B team against a side that are currently fifth in Serie A two points behind Benitez's Internazionale! What credit did Hodgson get for that?

I am far from easily pleased but give him a break. Let's at least give him some Liverpool style support instead of behaving like a bunch of spoiled brats.

Yes the team played well against Napoli and Roy deserves credit for it, but if we fail to beat Blackburn, then Roy should go.
