We need to see a ray of hope DD.... not deny that Roy cant cope .... Its no coincidence the posters who claim they see positives are loathe to except the huge nosedive they took when they deemed Hodgson to be a better manager than Benitez ,because for so long they believed they occupied the moral high ground and stood steadfast behind the boards cowardly removal of Rafa ..... this in itself had a serious effect on the relationship (For some close bond ) with the fans .... and that's why it was essential that our next manager could build an affinity with the fans .....Hodgson simply does not have this in his locker ,nor does he possess the tactical acumen or belief in an attacking style of football that would have most fans singing in glorious harmony from the same hymn sheet ..... I would have Rafa back Tomorrow mate because he was adored in Liverpool and he is a far far far better manager than the one professing to have all the answers .... its as simple as that DD
Here's a question mate how many posters who backed his removal have now come out and admitted that knowing how hard Hodgson has it with the inner turmoil at the club ,and boardroom politics and as a subsequent result we are now Second from bottom ......then it must have been a small miracle the way Benitez had us still battling for fourth only to finish seventh,
because I would snatch the hand of anyone offering us seventh now............ I seriously would mate

I think it was right for Rafa to go when he did.
I don't think his replacement was the right choice.
Rafa was (is) a better manager than Hodgson.
But that doesn't mean that Rafa should still be in charge.

I backed Rafa right up until lat January and my reasons for turning was simply because it had gone stale. But i know what you are saying about a lot of posters. They have just swapped sides from hating Rafa to loving Hodgson with the same reasons!

I never disliked Rafa. I did however want him not to managed Liverpool because I thought his time was up. Nothing to do with money, nothing to do with the board, just simply because I think he had lost some of the players and things had got stale and I though we needed, after 6 years, a change.

As for Hodgson, I backed him from the start because as Liverpool fans thats what we do, thats why we stand out. He has a terrible start to his Liverpool career but Im willing to give him until at least Xmas, although I do agree things looking bad. But again when it comes to Roy, its nothing to do with money, nothing to do with the board. Its up to him with the players he has available to get it right and there is NO way we should be where we are at the moment

Sacking a Liverpool manager in October just dosent sit right with me.

BTW I would rip your hand off for 7th

See that's the thing I would consider you an honest poster and that's why your opinion holds water DD
I would also concur that Liverpool fans were synonymous with patience and respect .... but above all else we were heralded for our honesty mate and this would account for the way the Kop used to applaud a rival team if they had played in an awe inspiring way .... so surely now its still our honest and candid opinions that should be respected ...Liverpool fans have never been ordinary and neither has the team or its fans ...our voices have always held sway over rival club fans because of our humour ,but that is seriously being slowly eroded with the continuation of outsiders laughing at us rather than with us
So now our fans are giving their honest opinions even if it bucks tradition .... and if that means removing the manager from his position ....a position that is so prominent in our battle to climb the table ....then so be it because its Our club
and we cant stand idly by and watch it being ridiculed

With regards to Rafa I hope they walk the league in Italy but he is in a now win position. Even if he wins the CL and the Seria A then everyone will say it was Joses team.

Not the case, same way it wasnt Houillers team in 2005

We have a saying in Spanish - "white liquid in a bottle has to be milk". What do I mean by this? Well, this means that after 86 points and finishing 2nd in the league, what changed? The Americans. They decide and choose a new Managing Director.

White liquid has to be milk, erm no but let me bring Rafa a bottle of white liquid and see him drink it if he's so certain.

One thing I always hated about Rafa was that he never looked at himself in the mirror and admitted mistakes. It wasn't all his fault and he did some good things but everyone should be man enough to put there hand up when they've done wrong.

Rafa admitted just before he was sacked that he had made mistakes and would of liked a chance to change things.

Rafa never hated Parry - just got sick of him being so slow and incompetent. (he did sell to the Americans).

What he is saying here is very true. Since we finished 2nd on 86 points, we literally have changed so many things.

Some people hate him and all and I don't think these comments were necessary but he really cares about the club and the fans and I love him for that. I hate that there are big issues in the club that have stemmed from certain players unhappiness and unprofessionalism behind closed doors, I believe that there are certain players that are playing their part in making the situation at the club worse than it already is. Our two scousers need to be put back in their place and let the people above them do their jobs, hopefully our new owners will do just that. People can say this isn't true or whatever but I believe it to be. Stevie and Carra are in the press often now speaking positively and Stevie is playing his :censored:

off this season because he knows he got what he wanted, last year they were both obvlivious to the situation and it pisses me off that they are having too big a say in sh!t.
