Rafas fault !!!

a lot has changed since then, for one torres seems to have forgot where the goal is,

Your excuse is flawed due to the fact Torres missed most of last season.

And all you have done all day is blame Rafa when infact Roy couldnt lace Rafas boots cause he is totally out of his depth and shouldnt be anywhere near our club !!!

You hounded Rafa out I hope you are happy with his replacement enjoy the championship if this old fool stays around.

come on time to give the Rafa stuff a rest ciggy he has gone.

So what's your point Red, that people were wrong, you were right, you told us so, what?

FWIW I've said myself many times that the TEAM we CURRENTLY HAVE ought to be good enough IMHO to challenge for the top four. I don't think we've got enough good players to get into it any more, but we should be able to have a go at it. That said, with Torres playing like he is we are an ordinary team, because we don't have a credible alternative striker.

The vast majority of our players though are below the standard required for a club of our stature. Why that is has been done to death on here, but nontheless it remains the critical problem.

ok mate point out what i am saying is wrong for me.

The club has a lack of good player from the 16yr olds to the first team

poor players need to be sold off.

another manager will find it hard doing this job as he will still have the same team untill Jan.

Torres is not himself and has not been for a long time.

Oh f(cking do one you first class pr!ck. I had enough of your inane cluelessness on the takeover thead and now you have intervened on something you know jack about again, pi$$ and go play with some toy cars on the motorway.

wow took a long time to make a post, happy you took the time to read and and put your ponit over.

That's ironic, it was you and dawson clinging to Rafa as an excuse come the final whistle today. Tell me if we get relegated are you gonna blame Rafa as well?  :D

Just face facts Roy is a fish out of water here and is just making things worse. He doens't know how to be creative and play posession football why, because he has always played ugly football. We have a team suited to pressing and he isn't playing the team to their strengths so no wonder we are getting steamrolled. And then for him to turn around and say thats the best performance of the season? Dear god I really do fail to see how people still have faith in the man. He has to go now!

We have new owners, get MON or Hiddink in now and we can have  a fresh start. We need someone to motivate the players and steady the ship.

Do we have a significant amount of deadwood in the squad?  Absolutely.  Should we still be comfortably clear of the relegation zone despite said deadwood and despite a tricky fixture list to start the season?  Again, absolutely.  This notion that no manager would have us sitting better than we currently are is flawed, IMO.  I think there are plenty of managers--including Rafa, it must be said--who would have us mid-table at this stage.  Roy's not done the business so far.  No question about it.  Will he ever?  That's the real question at hand and, frankly, it's not looking promising that he will.

I thought Rafa's time was up due to our lack of progress and other annoyances he had. I also thought Roy would turn it around to a certain extent, I was never 100% convinced but was willing to give him time.

But now change is needed fast. Essentially a better manager is needed than both Hodgson and Rafa. Neither are good enough. Use the free money now to attract a big manager.

Surely in such a high profiled job everything is performance related.

Roy is failing his job, pure and simple. He has had ample time to get the team working together and put in some decent performances, but at the moment we look worse than last season.....much much worse.

He has to go sooner rather than later, hes a nice bloke an all. But for gods sake we are liverpool we shouldnt be in this position with the resources at our disposal. Players domtake a portion of the blame of course but the core of this team finished 2nd a couple of seasons ago.

Its tragic watching our decline week in week out :(

Lakes

As I said you haven't got a clue mate, you really have'nt. The majority of 16-21 year olds we have in our current setup are internationals for their respective countries at their respective age groups, some of them play a few years above their age, so you say these aren't good enough?.

If yes, who do we sign?. Some kid that has been injected with kryptonite?. Get a grip ya mong.

There's nothing wrong with Torres mate. He isn't getting any service, that's the problem. The team isn't pressing as it should be, Torres always got chances of attacks when we used to press, that's the problem. The manager can't motivate the players, that's the problem.

The manager is taking us backwards mate and he has to go before we really are in a relegation battle. Just think for a minute if you think the morale of the players is bad now imagine how bad it might get if we are still rooted to the bottom of the table after 5 or 6 games.

It's nice to think that Roy might turn it around but again you are only really just basing that on hope more than anything. He himself said today that today was the best performance he has seen. We are in trouble mate and Roy has a lot to answer for.

Reading through the forum from today all you have spoken about is 16 year old kids not being good enough - couple of points 1. How the hell do you know they aren't good enough 2. Do you actually know the kids we have and their potential and ability - I suggest you go do your homework and then come back .

yep i agree with you on most of that, i still think the problem would still be there if it was another manager and not royt here at the start of the season, we are in a mess and i understand why the board piucked roy, yes it was not my first choice but he is a fire fighter manager....but this one might be too big for him to fight and the same for a lot of other managers, untill Jan and the transfer window.

There isn't anyone else around right now except maybe Hiddink and it might be too hard to get him. MON has always overachieved wherever he has been, also it can't be hard to better the job Roy is doing right now. No offence to him as  a person but he isn't cut out to manage this club. If he has any respect left for the club he will step down tonight.

Would you rather we stick with Roy and enjoy the bottom of the table for a few more months? Give me a :censored: break lakes, you cannot defend what we are seeing.
