agreed

Hopefully the sh'ithouse players will grow a pair and do what they get paid handsomely for:
Play like professionals

...and hopefully the manager sees that he needs to grow a pair and manage the f*ck out of the team.

I still like Roy, but he this is massive for him, and he seems a bit overwhelmed. If he can do what he can do he'll be awesome

I still can't get over people calling for the managers head after seven league matches, regardless of who it is or how we are playing. I can honestly say I never ever thought I'd see that from Liverpool supporters. That it's coming from dies in the wool scousers makes it all the more astounding to me.

Disclaimer: I'm not saying people aren't entitled to their view because they obviously are, just that I'm amazed that I could be so wrong about our fan base.

Even Shankly didn't use magic in his first season in charge, but fans gave him time and look how he turned out to be :buttrock

Patience is what is needed in troubled times right now

Can't really use Shanks as a comparison can you - he hadn't spent 35 years in management already without winning any trophy or note - nor had he already had a top at a top club and watch them get relegated .

Mick were in the relegation zone Lad ,one thing Liverpool fans  don't do  whilst being known for their patience is  suffer fools ....and the died in the wool Scousers will always support the team no matter which league their in ...can everyone hand on heart say the same .... as for being wrong well you couldn't have been more so about the current incumbent ...could you ?
People are just  honest enough to admit it now after seeing no signs of any hope in our style of play ....and other people well maybe it suits not to admit they were sadly wrong about the qualities an English manager would add to our game ....

But neither can you say those things about Hodgson ??? You do make some very strange statements sometimes. What had Shanks won BTW before he became Liverpool manager (I genuinely didn't know he had).

One major difference Mick:

'Shanks built the team from second division to the kings of europe, Woy seems happy to do the reverse.'

I can say those things about Hodgson because they have already happened - no major trophy of note , getting a top team relegated .

He already had a chance before - the team he took over had won the prem not 3 season before and he was also given a lot of money ( at that time ) - guess what happened to that club - relegated .

,Most of them die hard scousers that you refer to Mick pay good money , some may have scrimped and saved to go the game , You keep harping on about being suprised, why . Is it not accepable or maybe you cant accept that these die hard scousers just may think Roy wasnt and isnt still good enough to manage us, I pay my match money and im allowed i think to have an opinion on who is our manager , i havnt abused him , ive stated my opinion , it could of been another apointee who i thought wasnt good enough ,not just Roy and my opinion would of been the same, So until i see with my own eyes from my seat in the ground that Roy is improving us im sorry but i wont be jumping into bed  :;): with the Roy is the one and we need to stop moaning about him Clicks as you like to call them.  I can understand your point about you being wrong about our fan base though , some of us have been going on about our fan base for years , There are truly  some shake the head moments ive witnessed, Last example was only on Sunday , two fellas bagged up bulging  from the club shop, brand spanking new tops on .scalves , half and half . all that was missing was the batman cape and were are they ,smack bang in the middle of the march before the game, shouting Yanks out ,  Day out for them something to tell the mates about , we went to Anfield spent loads went on a protest march. it was a jolly good day alround,
So i will stick to my Scouse opinion and just hope for the best , like lots of others
