why net spend? If you dont have the money dont buy sell buy sell so often. A world class manager doesnt have the turnover when the net spend is not available.

the facts are we went through TOO MANY PLAYERS to get anyone gelling properly. and the ones we had he scared off it seems to me.

Net spend because it was a 1 in 1 out system meaning we often had to sell before we could buy hence we could never really build any strength in depth.

The fact is no other manager would be expected to finish in the top 4 and mount a European Cup challenge on a 25Mil a year net spend. Heck City have individual players on their bench who cost more.

You all really don't get it do you.

why?

Hes an ex manager who f*cked up our club in my opinion, im allwoed to gloat as he makes the same mistakes again and again, except inter havent given him the money and revolving door policy that we gave him?

Yeah he really fkd the club up didn't he. We were fighting relegation under Rafa.

As Valencia did we are now crumbling. When you take out a world class manager you replace him like for like. I bet it grinds your bones that Rafa went straight into a top European team.

Maybe the rot starts under him?

Chased out Alonso, replaced with acua!
blew the budget on a krap full back and in injury prone guy now on loan!
Finished 7th!
Blew massive money on players like Babel,Lucas,Keane,Kuyt, pennant etc

I think he has ruined this club.

Finshed 7th? 7th would be like winning the league for Roy mate, that's how far we have fallen.

And Aquilani is fit and playing now. It's not like we are lacking any creativity going forward are we?   :glare: But wait we got Meireles but were gonna play him out wide.

Lets give Roy 38m and see if he does better than a krap full back that cannot defend and an injury prone midfielder that goes missing a lot.

Remember all the full backs he bought before he realised the one he had to start with that GH bought (Finnan) was better than all those continentals he thought he needed?

I think he is capable of being the first Inter manager in ages to lose the league.

The only won the league in the first place due to the other teams being handicapped, teams who never went onto recover. Come on you see that don't you?

Johnsons flaws are only exaggerated more due to being more exposed sinc Poulsen came. Id rather we give him a p45 but they don't sack managers here so I hope he gracefully retires from his post.

Anyway this is a thread for Rafa updates so that will be my last comment on Roy.

Yeah 1 in 1 out mate, and he was trying to build a squad not to mention revamp the youth system. The only promising young players we have who will realistically break through in the future (Pachecho, Wilson, Shelvey & Sterling) were all scouted and bought under his watch. It's ultra competitive these days and things become 100 times harder when you don't have the money to compete.

I'm sure this thread is about what happens to Rafa in the future but it seems some just can't let go of the past and constantly try and rewrite history . Listening to some people you would think rafa was only in charge for one season !!!

Very possible that he will be available if he loses the league with the European champions who won the treble last year.

If he does come back, will he give back the millions he took from the cash starved club to go away?

NO he didn't . The club made big losses.

When the owners (rightly or wrongly) decided that he had failed as manager, he held on to take millions of pounds for himself out of this cash starved club. He then made some charity contributions and ensure that everyone got to hear about his good deeds.

All the above is true.

All the above is true.

Go look at the accounts - the only reason the club made losses is because of interest payments to fund bank loans

And what your saying is not true - he took what was entitled to him and he asked for the charity donations to be kept quiet .
