This may be a blessing in disguise because it lowers the possibility for Hicks to raise money to buy us out.

If you do count the european games then we didn't do so bad did we yeh? we won all games and drew last one.

I think thats very good :talktothehand

Yep up until the last game we were doing really well in Europe with the fringe players - its a shame we couldnt transfer that confidence found in Europe into the prem games .

Jesus fucking christ.

“I could not give a monkey’s whether we are 16th or 18th,”

Well we bloody do Roy, you still dont get it do you? We are Liverpool not Fulham or Malmo.  :no

Yeah, sack him now...

Dawson are you not slightly concerned by this quote?

.

I'm not at all concerned about this quote.

Personally I don't care if we're 16th or 18th right at this moment.

4 points separtes 3rd to 16th. Table position is as relevent at this stage of the season as it is after 2 games.

A win today will see us 2 points off 3rd place and we've already played 3 of the current top 4, a harder start than anyone above us.

Ok Dawson - what are the positives you have seen since Hodgson took over the management of the club - what Improvements have you seen both on and off the pitch - in fact open to anyone

Roy is here, lets get behind him

I'll get behind him dude....push him back down to Fulham!!

Is Roy your uncle or something? :D

Nah I just thought Liverpool fans were better than this. Its only been 6 games... and I still rate him as a decent manager, ebtter than Rafa has been the last 2 seasons anyways. We dont have the moneyfor the big signings, buit instead of whining and crying we should be proud of who we got and want the best.

Better than what mate??

We have yanks and banks,Chelsea supporters and liars controlling our great club.We are 16th in the EPL and are playing like Everton with Aids!

Its all good saying get behind him....it really makes you a better fan!It actually does the opposite from how I see it....IT MAKES YOU LOOK BLIND to the bigger picture.

The man called fans who protested against the Yank bas@rds as "some people"(in a derogatory way)........Well guess what Roy SOME PEOPLE CARE and have done before you came and will do when you go and find your level again

Its nothing personal...any manager of Roys stature would have jumped at the chance to manage LFC,the problem is that now he is here he looks like he is drowning in the politics of the club without opinion!
He seems to be saying,ah well Im LFC manager and thats the way it is....ok so turn a blind eye,its not happening....fair enough!BUT AT LEAST do something positive on the pitch....that is not happening!

Arsenal game aside..we have been abysmal, negative, scared, cautious and honestly shi'te no matter who we play in EVERY game...it has been terrible football and heartbreaking to watch...people are laughing at us while Roy sits and rubs his face and Sammy hits the walky talkie.....sorry its not good enough!

Get behind the manager all you want folks.......I care about LFC and love the club with all my heart and I don't like what I'm seeing or hearing from Roy....it's that simple

Bad fan?Not a true red?Rafalite or whatever? Not the Liverpool way?.............Or maybe just someone that cares and is realistic!

You think he is better than 2 seasons ago when we nearly won the league?

Oh dear Dawson :no

no, since then, Rafa just f*cked us up, the players, the team, the everything...

Cant live in the past forever, if you wanna follow Rafa f*ck off to an Inter site... we know what he did lat season, how his transfers sknited us out... how the Batrry saga etc etc but yet again we are going off topic, this is a Liverpool thread, a Roy thread, now a fat waiter thread

:D

You drunk dude....so unDawsonlike!

We don't have Rafa anymore, I see that as a big improvement. I think he ruined us last season (yes, owners as well, but we needed a change) now we got a change. He convinced Torres and Stevie to stay, thats a plus... but we do need an improvement massively

Like I said, a lot of Liverpool fans got depressed after that last game.
After cooling down, I don't think it is exactly Roy's fault.
Well.. Players like Glen Johnson is so poor it beggars belief.
Not to mentioned F. Torres too, players are not putting in the right attitude and drive in their game.
That is the real issue here. Maybe they don't understand Roy, or think they have been playing like this for years and suddenly need to change. Change is hard, we all know that.
Not to mentioned the games that we have had played so far. Even Sunderland is a difficult outfit as they could have beaten Man Utd last night. The way I see it, the mid tables team are catching up this season and making the entire league very unpredictable and tough. Point separating each team will be very small and goals will be crucial.
In fact, I think the number of draws will come into play for the top 4 position. Not losing will be key. We don't have to win all instead just don't have to lose.

Yes, fans like myself are alarmed by the recent display. We are discouraged by what we have seen. We want quick actions to solve to issues identified. But we are 100% behind the manager. I know I still am.

But is Hodgson an improvement - is there anything else apart from Rafa is gone ? What about on the pitch ? Any improvement there or any positives or is it a case now where it was anyone but Rafa being the only improvement ?

I think any change is an improvement mate, and im willing to give hmi a few more games at least before getting the noose out for him.

Just how i feel. I think he did a good job at Fulham but hes managing inside his comfort zone at the moment, he needs to be unleashed and go for it. and I think he'll do that

But if there is no improvement on the pitch - in fact things have got worse how is changing a manager an improvement . Is there any improvement on the pitch Dawson in the 16 games in has been in charge ( not 6 ) .

in the 6 premier league games we have had tough opponents... thats how im looking at it, not friendlies or even the UEFA cup

Plus Torres is still injured (yes we should have got another striker) and the team has not yet gelled to the new way of playing which needs improvement as well.. but i think ti'll be good, starting today

I read an article posted by Benny that Rafa's team was setup to be attacking oriented..
Seriously??.. I dread to think if we are setup to be defensive... 11 players will be at the penalty area :D

Roy afraid of backlash from fans if he drop the star players!?!?!... Hmmm, just drop them Roy.
Drop Lucas, drop Maxi, drop Johnson and please drop Torres too.
Play Torres as reserve at 65 mins instead. Get Johnson to eat less and exercise more.
Just put your neck on the line as long as you think you are doing the right thing.
Stop hesitating, go for the glory Roy........
