Another example. You did not take this sort of tone in criticism of the previous manager mate, you were very rarely on the front foot as in the post, the tone was different. I'm not going to go back and check previous posts because i don't need to. We all know eachother pretty well on here in so far as talking football and opinions go. It doesn't particularly bother me to be honest but it does fire other posters up (such as Bam) and that's why i'm discussing it now. If you take someone like Owzat, I don't always agree with him, especially when we get onto Peter Crouch but he calls it as he sees it (see the post about Hodgson in this thread) and his tone is verty much the same as when he was holding Rafa to task last year, he's pretty consistent. There is a sense that you are not. Now there's no reason anyone should have a problem with that but if you say the two managers are getting EXACTLY the same treatment/leeway/support (online) then you will continue to catch flak on the boards.

I wish you were right but I think our squad is dreadful. I don't think we have a chance of top 4. Blowing 35m on a full back and an injury prone midfielder (now gone on loan) was a major screw up.

Im posting how i see things - simple as that - disagree with that by all means .

Im not the one bringing up the previous manager - im only interested in our current manager and that is what i will base my views on .

I have my own opinion about our current manager and nothing has been done to change that opinion but im going to support him until the day he leaves and i hope he proves me wrong but im not going to sit here and say everything is all rosey when it blatently isnt .

When i see something i think is wrong i will say so - when i see something i think is right and great i will say something .

All im doing is giving an opinion - something which seems to pass over peoples head - im not insulting them , im not having a go at them ,

If the forum has no got to the stage where you cant voice your opinion without being attacked then the forum has died .

I have said to people if they dont like what i post then put me on ignore so they can then move on as they seem unable to post in a mature way .

And im sick of having to justify myself everytime i post .

Simple i think Hodgson made a couple of mistakes on monday - do you agree or disagree - if so then explain and debate but dont attack .

As for comparing the manager with previous manager - well it is going to happen - its natural and the previous manager will get mentioned - if people cant handle that then dont comment . The previous managers record is what Hodgson has to compete against - that is the benchmark - the forum is full of " If rafa was still here such and such wouldnt of played " when there is no basis or fact for it .

Yep i would of said exactly the same thing about the previous manager -

I said he was wrong to play both torres and gerrard when they were not fit and ready and same with formations and set up .

I am giving my opinion on what i see with current manager and has nothing to do with previous manager .

How many months ago was that now - how long was it after rafa left and hodgon was appointed - do you see me currently constantly bringing up the manager ? No i believe that is yourself and others .

Yes when the end of the season comes people will judge the end result against previous manager .

But again go through my posts and show me where i am comparing the managers since the football has started .
