Ok just ripped this from Rawk for the folk from Southern Ireland who want to set up a SOS BRANCH .

There is now an Irish Branch of SOS being set up. Anybody who is Irish and wishes to join must first be a member of Spirit Of Shankly Union. Then you can sign up by emailing the chairman: Stephen Glynn at his email address: steoglynn@yahoo.ie

And Supply:
1.Your Name
2.The Town You Live In
3.SOS Membership Number
4. Email Addy (if different to the one you have sent the message on)

Once the above has been recieved, steo will add you to the register and then the PRO will be in contact with you as soon as everything is finalised.

PLEASE ALL IRISH MEMBERS JOIN. IT IS OUR VOICE. IT IS OUR WAY OF HELPING OUR CLUB.

JOIN IRISH SOS BRANCH. YANKS OUT.

The inaugural meeting of the Northern Ireland branch has been set up for 6.00pm on Thursday the 29th of July. The meeting is being held in the pavilion bar on the Upper Ormeau Road Belfast www.laverysbelfast.com/thepavilion/index.asp

The guy organising this says that some people who have expressed an interest in joining have still not filled in the personal details form and asks if they could do this asap.

The form can be found at www.nisos.webs.com

So guys let's get the form filled in and get down there on the 29th to see what the craic is.

I've been on the SOS website, and I guess I just don't quite understand what they do.  Somebody care to better explain it to me?

Well I've read a lot about it and so far, I don't get exactly what they do. They want the owners out, but what are they doing to actually get them out? Where does the donations go to?

I've also heard bad things about SOS.  I heard something about them doing physical damage to something a while back and I can't remember what it said, but obviously I don't know if that's true.
