as long as we play better than last year ill be happy.
i would like to see roy set out an attacking side especially at home with a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3,continue this away at the lower clubs.imo we should only use a lone striker against the top 4 or 5 sides.
it is difficult to know what he will have at his disposal come august and i doubt he has the ability to attract any world class players should some of ours need replacing.
lets hope we play good passing attacking football with goals and plenty of them from different positions rather than continue to heavily rely on one man again.
roy wants a shot at the epl with a good team capable of challenging so lets hope he realises he has it!!!

agreed, however the issue you raised regarding Roys ability to attract world class players is offset IMO by the fact that its Liverpool FC that comes calling, not nec the guy himself

I've never minded zonal marking, so long as the players look after their designated areas ok. I wouldn't be that confident with out current defence tbh. I think Johnson is ok and now that Aurelio has gone Agger may have to slot in at LB. Hopefully he will bring in Hangeland.

I think he should play a 2-1-7 formation and just attack everyone
Loads of goals for both sides and great as long as we score one more than them

I'm wondering if the Sky Sports monkeys like Gray will be banging this drum next season when we concied a few. They probably won't even notice now that the little fat Spanish fella who's apparantly stupid because his English isn't all that clear is gone.

My only wish formation wise is that we've seen the last of the Lucas/Mascherano combo starting in midfield for the majority of the season.
