Liverpool is a club for everyone. You are wrong - a lot of people wanted Rafa gone. It wasn't a question of is he a nice guy.

He simple didn't cut it in the League. I'm not trying to cheeky but let him run the local counsel if you feel he gives you a voice.

Not interested in your proximity to the club , the point I made is you should put a lot more stock in listening to the fans rather than gleaning whats written and talked about in the media .. or did you completely miss the gist of that  ???
So trust me when I tell you the majority of supporters in Liverpool never wanted Benitez to leave ... some yes but like I said mostly forums depending on the ones you frequent  ???
As for belittling you I am sorry if you got that impression but I have no time to walk on egg shells any more

Rafa is gone whatever people thought of him and we have a new man to try and get us back on track
Criticising or ridiculing him before the season starts is not going to make us better.
Hes here to help us
Lets all remember that

You be positive ???   I will be a realist 25 yrs I held a Season ticket .. and never at any time have I felt so lost and betrayed  ???
I'm sure Mr Purslow will be gloating quietly over his assumption he has won the war ... but this coming  4th of July he will know of our real feeling surrounding this sham  and the large swell of hatred we share for this grade A cunt and his employers and that's where I will be making my feelings known... where it matters

You pretend that Roy is the answer to all our ills and you remember he is here to help you ... I will be busy remembering the time when Liverpool Football Club courted and flirted with winning  with unheralded success, and would never lay  down while strangers to our shores wiped their muddy cowboy boots on our subservient backs   ???

I have been a supporter since I was a kid. I have had season tickets, watched away and home. Have cried, laughed, screamed and celebrated.
Youre not the only one gutted at our plight mate. Im a scouser, Red and proud and it guts me that we have come to this.
But I am not crying like a little girl because we got a decent manager instead of a superb one. The last one did a lot of damage that the current one will have to make right. Of course hes not the answer to all our ills. I am not Fu*king stupid. I remember us being the best. But were not anymore. We have to be realistic. I will be there on the 4th because I want the cu'nts out.
But I will also be supporting our new manager because, whether you, me or anyone else likes it, we NEED him to help us sort OUR club out.
Anyone who cares for LFC has to back Hodgson fully. Otherwise we will all have plenty of reason to cry. I promise

Throw all your anger towards the two clown (which I know you are doing) but leave Roy out it it for the mean time, if things dont go well and he starts to fuck up then Ill be the first on here with you saying fuck of Roy.  :D

But he does deserve a chance  - whos knows what this might bring?

He will be given support and Backing at the match Michael, even from me  :p as i would never abuse our boss, but lets see how long it is before people start to jump on his case, and it wont be from the ones who go the game itll be the phoneins and the sky whoppers and the forums again,

I truley hope its not the case .

Without money invested in the squad we might not be able to compete and whoever the manager id them numties that you mention are going to still be giving out...

Thats a wild statement
Most of the people I went or watched the match with wanted Rafa gone. The ones who didnt were mainly scared of who we would get rather than wanting him to stay

I am glad you think he is decent manager  fella ...you see I don't, I personally think he shouldn't be within a hares breath of being included on a list of managers to take us forward and I intend to proclaim my views on the 4th  so that cunt Purslow doesnt make the assumption all Liverpool fans are as malleable as the naive new breed we have following us now ... that's my fight fella and it will take a serious act of God to prevent me

But I have never in all my years given torrential  abuse to a player while wearing red and that is equally true for the manager ..I remember religiously the Anfield code and while I have watched and listened despairingly over the last few years to some who have shattered this law in an unedifying respect I shudder to think the majority of the Kop will  ever forget this code of practice

He's articulate, clever, dry; has a really decent record as a manager and may just be the chap who takes LFC forward on what will most likely be a shoestring budget. The negativity surrounding the news that he may be our next manager is bewildering! The club is in a really sorry state at the moment due to factors we all know about but at least we can all get behind the man who was voted Manager of the Year last season in the toughest League in the world!!!

If he is so good why has he won next to nothing of any significance - winning manager of the year is a nothing award - he won it because he got to a final !

What had Shankly won before he was appointed manager of Liverpool?

Shanks was 46 when he took over Liverpool. What age is Roy? 62? If he hasn't done the business by now for some other club, chances are he'll never do it, especially taking over in the state we're in. TO even use Shankly as a reference is a joke. Hodgson is a journyman. That's all. He's not here to take us to the next level and that's the biggest disappointment for me.

On that basis Spurs wouldn't have appointed Redknapp to turn them round because he was about 60 and had been a "journeyman" manager at Bournemouth, West Ham, Southampton and Pompey (twice).

Whatever the rights and wrongs of Rafa's spending and how much he had or didn't have or didn't use properly or make the best of Rafa failed. We can argue about that but at the end of the day he didn't do it and Rafa over the 6 years (in particular before H&G arrived) only had himself to blame.

It'c unclear at the moment what the next level for Liverpool is. Is it title winners or is it top four again? The future has to be better than the past even if that means without Gerrard and Torres. The club is always bigger than individuals. Whatever money comes in for whoever is sold will to some degree have to be spent on new additions.

I'd rather have a steady hand with a calmness to deliver without all the expectation of an Ancelotti or a Rijkaard or a Hiddink. Hodgson might not be the step up but he might just be what Liverpool's underachieving prima donnas need to step up. The jury will still be out after tomorrow but I'm prepared to give Mr Hdogson the benefit of the doubt for now.

Oh and trust me I haven't (and I can safely say the same for all the lads ) been scared of anything for a long time  especially about who would eventually usurp Rafa

Roy will do well and I wish him all the good fortune necessary. He will steady the ship and maybe now some of our younger talent will get a chance.

Yes I think hes decent. And honest. And straight. Things we need to succeed
I hope and pray he can pull us out the sh'it weve been put in and I hope others follow the code and give him the respect he not only deserves but needs 100% to do his job.
We are on the precipice and I would hate some ignorant knobheads to drag us over by slagging our manager before hes had a chance to prove himself

If we didn't vent our spleen publicly at Houllier then Hodgson is assured no abuse  ???
