How rusty is Fabinho ffs. Possibly the last player that needs a winter break.

Yeah...his first contribution was to put us under the most serious threat all night

Glad to see teams capitulating against us before the game even starts. They were never going to get anyrhing out of the game like this.

Job well done, won the 3 points and now lead City by A MASSIVE 19 points.

I only listened to the game on the radio but the highlights are on Sky in a quarter of an hour.
19 points clear, phenomenal effort by Jurgen, the players and the entire club.

We're ruthless at the moment. Utterly ruthless. The title race isn't over, but the fat lady is clearing her throat  :D

We barely gout out of the 2nd gear, controlled the game, conserved our energy as the next game is coming right up...did just enough to stretch the lead to 19 points

When you glance at the table it is just shocking to say the least. We are a fecking relentless brute force.
Imo I think Klopp is going for the invincible record.

We're cruising past teams a lot these days. Some of them feel like a training game  :buttrock

Looked like Mo had a good game, that pass for Chamberlain’s goal with the outside of his foot was a peach. He’s ten times the player when he takes the blinkers off and plays with his head up.
Looked like Alisson had a good game as well.
What Jurgen has done with this club over the last 4 years is simply incredible, it’s not even as if its all been plain sailing, we’ve had some proper kicks in the teeth to deal with but he has just taken them all in his stride.

I agree but even when he’s having a shocker he still serves a purpose in acting as decoy and pulling defences apart, leaving openings for others to exploit. It’s hard to defend when you have an energised Afro bunny buzzing about your area. Alison is mental; how many points has he won us these past few seasons?

Pretty sure the title’s in the bag now. Can’t wait for the CL to recommence...

After last years huge but ultimately bittersweet league campaign effort I was worried about slump this year
Instead a campaign to bring holy grail back to its rightful home which has exceeded all expectations.

Jurgen watched the Lovren/Matip horrendous 3 goal reversals, mickey mouse goal keeping, sideways/back passing midfields and aimless attacking just as we all did, yet he knew how to fix it. He rebuilt every sector of the team from goalie through to the reserve team, backroom staff and mental toughness.  It's not just been Jurgen though, the whole club has come together from the tea lady to the owners, credit to everyone but Herr Klopp is clearly the catalyst.

And the juggernaut that is LFC rolls on !!

To think in mid November, which really is not that long ago, one reporter wrote before we played City at Anfield “if City win they will be only 3 points behind Liverpool” What has happened since then has been truly remarkable and it is nothing short of miraculous to think that we are now 19 points ahead of Abu Dhabi United. I honestly thought at the beginning of the season that we had a great chance of winning the league but I never dreamed that we would find ourselves in the position that we are in at the beginning of February. It certainly isn’t all over but nobody could have asked for more - ok maybe VAR should have given a foul on Origi that lead to United’s only goal
